Correct. I even played the 'I am a loyalty card holder, is there nothing you can do? I know it was my fault, but I made a mistake......can you please help'
Computer says Non!
It just makes me feel really anti Air France, all for something so silly, and at £50 it isn't the end of the world, but it's things like this that really get my goat. Having said that, my bag usually has an extended trip in Paris when I fly with them and gets couriered home the next day after I've arrived, so maybe I will look at alternatives. To say that I do this trip probably once every six weeks you would think that they would be more accommodating. Zut alors!2013 NSD challenge 3/100 -

Oh yes, I know that, they all use the Flying Blue thingie, of which I am a member, but I have always had much better service from KLM.2013 NSD challenge 3/100 -
air france are idiots, i booked flights with them a few years back to disneyland paris, the website wasnt working so i rung up to book the tickets, the tickets were for me, my partner and 2 year old son ( who sat on our lap. flying from bristol to charles de gaulles and back, i was quoted i believe around £290 for all 3 of us which i thought personally that was quite expensive but booked anyway as it was slightly cheaper than most places, when i checked my account a day or so before we were due to fly it seemed almost £600 was pending to come out so i rung air france who said no the payment would of only come out twice and they couldnt do anything so ring my bank, rung the bank and i was back and forth to bank and airfrance, anyway holiday came and went and i didnt check my account because i just assumed that it was sorted, a few months back i needed to check back to that date for some reason and they did actually take almost £600 surely that is very un reasonable for 2 people and a baby just flights to paris. i spoke to airfrance who said it was right and there's nothing they would do. aaaahhh i wish i had never looked back at my account0

^^ You thought £290 for 3 people was unreasonable to fly to Paris and back?! I am flying from Paris to Cardiff in May. Bought the tickets the other day. Leaving a Friday night, coming back a Monday afternoon. The cost? €230 :eek:0

yea i thought it was very expensive, and if you had seen the plane you would of been shocked, it was my first time flying and it has terrified me, have you ever seen madagascar where they make a plane? well picture that, thats how our plane looked it was tiny with propellers and it was falling apart in my partners hands (no joke it actually was) as we were driving into the airport i said watch us have that plane now (obviously thinking it was a joke at the time) but oh no it was actually the plane we had, i actually thought we wouldnt make it there alive, i kept my seat belt on the whole time ( god knows what that was going to do if we were going down hahahah)0

i kept my seat belt on the whole time
And a lot of Turbo-prop (propeller) aircraft are newer than a lot of jets that are flying. For short routes they can be more fuel efficient and speedier than jets as well.0 -

Every airline advises you too keep your seat belt loosely fastened while seated in case of unexpected turbulance. When the seastbelt light is on you MUST be wearing it.0

yea but you don't have to keep it on, otherwise how would you get to the toilet, i kept me on and as tight as possible lol0
