Free Unlock codes for Nokia Phones 6 (U.K. Networks Only)

If i put my o2 sim into the phone to see if it is unlocked, and it isnt, it wont lock up will it?

(im a bit stupid with phones!)

right ive done this under the assurance from someone that it wont lock up, and it didn't, but it says (when o2 sim inserted):

Phone Restricted (with an undo button on the side)

When pushed it says "enter restriction code"

Can i get hold of one of these or not?

what phone are we talking about now, and what is the IMEI number/network it is locked to ???

T-mobile but wish to switch to o2...

I have used 3 of my 5 attempts, dont want it to lock up and have to pay to get it unlocked!

Can this be done? Go easy on me as i have no idea what im doing and don;t want to break the phone!

I have tried putting in the o2 sims and both the codes ive mentioned previously but it said "code error" after both of them. And when inserting the o2 sim it says "Phone restricted"

I click the undo button and it says "Enter resriction code"

those codes are correct...are you 100% sure it's locked to T-Mobile ??

Well when i pop my o2 sim in it says that restricted message, as previously mentioned, and it doesnt confirm anything once i put in the codes... infact it just says "code error" and flashes a little stop sign at me...
