from the 1st post:
1. To show p in the phones display - just press * three times within two seconds.

2. To show w in the phones display - just press * four times within two seconds.

3. To show + in the phones display - just press * twice within two seconds.

do i have to have my phone without the sim card in first?

when i unlocked an old 3330 i left the sim out

and the 10 letters thing was because of the character restriction thing on this forum

sorry i dont understand about the character thing
and i have just tried it without the sim card in and it still says code error xx
