Oh, sorry gaming-guy - I've just proved I'm not much cop at this techy stuff!!

Network he's on is Orange and he wants to change to Vodaphone. Hope that's everything.

That doesn't work gaming-guy, he's getting a message "code error". He has another Nokia 3220 with the code thingy of 355388007873078, do you have an unlock code for that please?
