If your in a public toilet you can just wipe it with tissue. Or maybe rinse with bottled water if you have any. It holds a LOT of fluid so its possible you might need even need to empty it. Its supposed to last about 5 years or so, though I know ladies who have been using one for more than 10 years or so.

Wash it with soap and water and sterilize in boiling water if desired and put it away for the next month. Simples

How do you clean it for and keep for next month to use? does it say how often you should change a new one,(tooth brush is reconmanded to change every month )
sorry just wondering do you need to wash it when you empty the full one, that means if you are in the public toilet how do you manage this
Yup, you might not need to change it in public toilets. Some people carry a small bottle of water with them for rinsing, but others just wipe with tissue. It's up to you and what works best. Some people can last up to 12 hours between emptyings, but it does depend on your flow.

Some people use sterilising fluid (like Milton) between periods. Others boil for over 5 minutes. DivaCup (a different brand) say you only need to wash with soap and water. If you do use soap or sterilizing fluid you need to rinse well after to remove any traces.
