last year i ordered one of their large collections of perennials, i hadn't ordered from them before so wasnt sure what to expect........
their condition was like what alot received, they werent looking great. so i planted them all out anyway and slowly they grew into nice plants. ironically the weedbeater collection i also got which looked the healthiest and greenest didn't grow as big as the halfdead ones.
this year they've grown back and yet again its the ones that started off worst that have grown back biggest. turns out they knew what they were doing by forcing the plants to grow stronger roots that foliage
my point is if your used to gardencentre-looking-ready-toplant out-plants-for-an-instant-effect, then continue to buy in person. but if you want cheaper plants delivered to your door and don't mind waiting for them to grow big then give an online store a go.

Half are flower seeds and half vegetables - not cheap packets either.
:money:
I had this too , the plants were small and not looking their best , but i have re potted them and they are now in my greenhouse and coming along very well . I have no idea what they are as i didnt keep the labels lol . All in all Im very pleased with themVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -
i received mine a few weeks ago.....i was starting to think they were lost in the post as it took almost 4 weeks for them to arive......as a new gardener i was a little shocked at how bad they looked but even i could see that they all had good roots.....i planted all out as soon as i had them even the 3 that looked 100% dead.....all but 1 has taken and starting to grow new shoots and i have not given up on that 1 yet......there are a few plants that are the same but diff size or colour so i dont mind so much......i also ordered dianthus 'strawberry cream' plugs and they took longer to come back but where very good plugs.....i also got the free seeds and as i wont use the veg seeds i have given them to my local old peoples home and i have sown most of the sweet pea they sent and this will be the first time for me to do so all in all a good thing.........i have just ordered more off them so fingers crossed......i also get cash back @ 12.12% so i think it works out better then other garden centres as i have 2 travel to get to them0

I also got mine a week or so ago and they took several weeks to arrive, they did indeed look a bit rough but as a previous poster stated they all had good roots on them. They got watered and they have all took. I am very happy with them. I also got the free seeds. All in all, a great buy. thanks T&M. dont use em often but would use again.0

Update, the plants have mostly taken well and are growing, they even look like real plants now! Some have already flowered. Not so bad after all!0

Another one who has bought from T & M, twice in fact as I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt after the 5 lavender plants died. However the second order was as bad, mini plugs which were so soaked they rotted. Never again, like others I can't afford to throw money away so will be sticking to Homeb@se and my local garden centre. Everything I buy there grows0

When you have plants that are dead, die etc, do you get in touch and ask for a refund or replacement?0
