    Think Halifax put it on there website, saying that if you are not overdrawn by the end of the banking day 3.30-4.30 I think, you will not be charged.

    I remember seeing it somewhere on there website aswell.

    you have until 3.30 on the day the account goes overdrawn to put the account back into credit to avoid the charge

    No you have up until 3.30pm to put money into any current/reward or ultimate reward account in order for your direct debits to be paid, if you do not do this then they may get bounced.

    As long as you bring your account back into credit on the day it goes overdrawn you will not be charged and this includes weekends.
