Bought a DVD, but the code didn't work. Message said no balance left. I wanted the DVD, but would have preferred £5 off.0

All gone - don't bother trying! Luckily I placed an order that required immediate payment and found out its all gone. - good of ebay to give away £250k within 6ish hours.0

All gone - "There is no balance left on this redemption code." is the message...
Fortunately only put in Basket rather than used buy it now; or I'd have to buy something I can get cheaper elsewhere.0 -
Wow. The amount of people STILL trying, despite this being in the expired forum is amazing0

I think its because they are reading Martins EMAIL first entitled ''ebay free £5'' as the title! ... Then rushing to get it before it goes not realising its ALREADY gone!!
Then OF COURSE they find the forum to have a go about it as they got EXCITED FOR NOTHING and some made out a payment this morning thinking it would actually be free for them! x :eek:0 -
It was posted last evening on their face book page, for the face book fans of ebay. The code was a treat for those fans. Those that got the martin lewis email this morning and are moaning because its now ran out, were'nt the people it was meant for anyway. If you should have had the code, you would have known on facebook. Stop whinging, get over it. It was a fiver, for god sake.Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0

They do say that there will be a similar campaign in a couple of weeks, may be worth keeping an eye on their facebook page0

I used the code last night, the £5 came off the amount I had to pay, but this morning my paypal account is showing that the full amount before the £5 discount has been taken off. Is that the same for anyone else?0
