Hi
I need to come back on board after a while away. Have realised that I've been spending far too much without even thinking about it. Time to rein in the spending and this will get me back on track!14 projects in 2014: 3/140 -
Yes I am back on board as well I have been quite good the past 11 days and have only bought necessities. This morning I managed to spend on £3.00 on milk and mayo as I had run out.Working my way through the tinned stuff as much as possible.then blow me if I didn't go and mess up my printer tonight The cartridge leaked when I was replacing it so I think I may need a new printer Grrr it has been so good and easy to use as well, plus I got black printing ink all over my hands and it takes ages to get rid of it.
two steps forward and three back at the moment

well I spent an hour cleaning my printer this morning and I am hoping that a new set of cartridges will help solve the problem(bit cheaper than a new printer I hope)anyone know how I get cartridge ink off my fingers I'm covered in the stuff0

Sounds strange but have you tried baby wipes, I use them to get the ink of my rubber stamps and fingers when card making.Slimming World at target0 -
I ended up using a sponge that you clean the saucepan with and some orange Astonish paste it was the only thing that shifted it.
Day Three of my week
Well half way through the month and just a tad under £50.00 left so I'm quite pleased so far.I try to only go to the shops if I need at least 4-5 things urgently otherwise its so easy to drift around the supermarket picking up odds and ends.no point me getting anymore for the freezer its full to bursting as it is at the moment so food is coming from there for dinners and lunches.I made a vat of soup over the weekend which helps to streeetch the meals a bit.So fingers crossed no shopping for me until at least Thursday or Friday.Good Luck everyone0 -
Well after reading this thread, I am back on board as well, its so easy to slip back into the pounds without thinking about it - need to start asking myself do i really "need it" or "just want it"..... hopefully will start to see a difference.....

Hi, i would like to do this for the week. I have subscribed to this thread for ages, but have never posted. I am really looking to get some warm sweat shirts from the charity shops, but as im trying to pull all spending back, i will just check the cupboards and see what i have in stores and maybe buy something next week. This will be day 1. I have so much foodstuff in reserve, i could open a shop. I have run out of cold meats and eggs, but i will just use up the saladstuff there and i have loads of tuna, clams etc. This has come at a good time, as i have lost my bank card and am waiting on another. I actually cannot wait to get some eggs (but not this week), as im drooling at that meal that lillian posted, so simple, yet looks lovely and tasty. I think someone might have posted about adding chorizo or something similar, which is what i will do.0
