Cheap Tyres! (And tracking)

I got a set of tyres from etyres who do mobile fitting, they were pretty good and the guy manged to fit them on some 12 year old steel rims that used to leak and they have not gone down at all in the last 6 months. this would suggest that leaky tyres can be a sign of poor fitting.
At the time they were the cheapest for the tyres I wanted but looking now they are bit more expensive.
The guy waited for me to come to the car before tightening up the wheel nuts.
It looks like a franchise operation so your experience may vary.
Tyre Price Advisor is quite good and is similar to Blackcircles and if you end up at Valuetyres use the voucher code ty05 for an extra 5% discount.
For tyre reviews try www. tyrereviews .co .uk0 -
Just another quick note on these guys, I booked a mobile tyre fitting but got a call saying 'the van in your area has broken down'. Looking on the web it appears this is quite a common excuse, means they don't actually have fitters in your area and don't want to admit it.0

Thought I would add a nother note with these guys - needed 2 continental tyres for my A3 and tyrefit direct were £10 cheaper than eTyres - booked on a monday fitted next day at home - no problems.:)0 -
And secondly...
Vauxhall tracking : £65
National Tyres: £22 with a free re-tracking at 30 days.
I don't think you are comparing like with like here. Vauxhall would be using a 4 wheel laser alignment machine and providing before and after printouts.
Is the National Tyres deal just "toe and go"0 -

You got that one right mate.
I wouldn't trust them to blow up my tyres, never mind fit them.0
