Had a letter to say my esa finishes end april. Thats it. My stamps will be paid. Rang up JC they advised nothing can be done?? He said ring up tax credits and my husband works which means he is just above threshold for me to recieve anything. Nobody can give me any advice. I lose 400 pound a mth and am still under the doctor with a slipped disc which means i cannot work. It seems i can't get any help. His wage just covers the mortgage and with the bills we were already going in the red every month. With this we are finished. Has anybody got any advice. Am in the process of selling everything i own. I have worked all my life and have been off sick with this injury and was forced to leave my job. I am down to bare essentials and now may lose my house.. This is unbelievable. There was no real warning just a letter yesterday. I can't sleep or eat. There seems to be no help for me in this situation. My husband works over 24 hours a week so income related ESA is not available.. I wonder if they would put me on jobseekers allowance if i took enough meds i could try and get a job??0

The only advice I can give is to post on the Debt Free Wannabe board and the people on there can give you some advice about cutting back on your bills.

I too recieved the letter this week. Apparantly my income is too great to allow me to continue recieving this benefit in the IR group.
I am also about to loose my working tax credits, as I take on the guardianship of my grandduaghter. who I currently Foster.
The Fostering allowance will be reduced as I will then be able to claim Child Benefit, and Child tax credits for her. But there will be no income for me at all? This doesnt make any sense to me. It means that I am relying on the money for a 4 year old to keep me! The world has gone insane. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
