Getting a loan under £500

At the moment I'm looking to buy a guitar amp costing under £500 but am currently unemployed and living off savings which will be running out fairly soon. I do have a £2000 grand overdraft but I'm weary of paying the interest on that. Since the amp purchase would be a one off and they don't tend to depreciate in value much would there be a good way of me getting the money for this?

You have no income to afford this(well you have jsa money), focus on getting a job first.0

There is no way anyone is going to lend you anything my friend, you have no income
Do you really need this item, bet the answer is 'no' but you want it.
Dont be daft, getting yourself into debt for a luxury item is plain madness.
Its a slippery slope, easy to get onto, very very difficult to get off.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Not sure which thread is the most badly conceived idea, the leg stretcher who wanted to be a model, this thread or the 1 who wanted a loan to go on holiday.0

Never noticed that, nice 1 OP.0 -
Just to bat off some of the criticism flying from all quarters! I don't just fancy buying an amp for the hell of it but was hoping to join a function/wedding band to make a bit of money on top of some other things I have on the go ergo avoiding having to get some lame part time job but judging by everyone's reaction I didn't realise quite how ridiculous that seems.
Anyhow fell free to let this slip off the page rather than filling it up with useless spam.
ps. unfortunately my overdraft is only £2000 not £2 million0 -

What criticism ? Oh those who didnt give the reply you were looking for.
You need some form of income to repay the loan, could ask friends for it and promise to pay it back.0 -
Have you thought about busking to earn it?But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Busk. If you're any good, you'll have saved up for that amp in no time.0
