Unbelieveable
I find it unbelievable that on Ebay (according to certain sellers who post on here) buyers who have paid for an item, irrespective of the costs should be expected to accept 'non-delivery' and make no claim or complaint to either the Ebay seller or Ebay or PayPal, just in case that particular seller chooses to block them from further purchases.
Why the heck should a seller who has paid out money, be it £5/£50 or £500 just lie down, roll over and accept a loss, whosoever the seller is, just in case the seller blocks them from further purchases? I think most buyers who have been subject to INR and then wished/chosen to give their trust to the same seller for a further purchase ( yes, they thought the seller was as honest and genuine as themselves) should be indebted to the seller who blocked them. It means that they no longer are subject to the connivances of a a 'theiving scumbag seller'.
Bearing in mind that any sensible seller keeps their proof of postage/receipt and where the value of the item exceeds Royal Mail minimum, insures accordingly for their peace of mind, not the buyers.Iitem doesn't arrive, seller repays buyer, seller claims from whichever 'carrier' postal service he used. So why is the buyer a baddie' scumbag, thief
Think there's a lot to be said about rogue sellers as well as rogue buyers.
I truly hope your BBL comes back to bite you.
Twice within the last twelve months, my vehicle has been damaged while parked in the local supermarket car park, to the tune of £200/300. Don't know who did it, I was shopping and there no witnesses. Despite having "protected no claims bonus", I know that any claim will result in higher premiums, so I haven't claimed on my insurance, and yes, there's the 'excess' to consider.
Do these two incidents make me a bad driver, a poor insurance risk? Maybe I just have an unlucky coloured vehicle?
Wonder how Ebay woould view "If you make a claim for non-delivery of an item, I'll place you on my blocked bidders list" statement in description or your terms and conditions if you're registered business?
OMG what a sad world we're living in.0 -
Techspec,
Thats what i'm getting at as to what the hell Royal Mail do if anything. If that woman you mentioned had 20 parcels not recieved in 3 months............surely the RM would investigate her??

Not sure what your post was all about, but hoping someone's BBL comes back to bite them is certainly indicative of a malicious nature.0 -

And blocking an innocent buyer whose item hadn't arrived isn't malicious?
It may be that one day the seller may deperately want to buy an item, but the only one for sale is the buyer they blocked and the buyer has reciprocated.
To me it's a sad world where you make a genuine purchase and are sbsequently penalised and reviled by the seller whose goods failed to arrive.
Hope that is clear enough.0 -
I would like to block everyone who has made any posting, as all contributors seem to be completely embittered by the eBay INR policy.
Please PM me your eBay member names so that I can add them to my ever-growing BBL....
