Npower fit email application before 3 March 2012 deadline

Hi, I'm new to this so please excuse my ignorance on forum etiquette.

After installing my solar pv and having it commissioned yesterday I emailed my completed application form along with the MCS certificate and invoice to microgeneration@npower.com at about 18:00.

I was expecting an automated out of office response as proof of receipt, which sadly wasn't forth coming. Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

Sally, the Npower Rep, can you help investigate?

Thanks, dtran.

    Hi :0

I think your question might best be answered on our Utilities Board, so I'll move the post across for you. Good luck :)

  • When I applied for FITs back in Nov with nPower there was no email confirmation so had to call them. The originals had to be posted through too which I did special delivery.

I think that expecting any sort of response over a weekend is a bit optimistic. EDF took 14 weeks to process mine (though it will be backdated to date of receipt)!

Indeed. I applied to npower in May last year and it took until September for them to acknowledge it. They did backdate the FIT payments ok.
