One could say so is the Renault. The driver has done the same as you. Parked bv the end on one side.

"one" could not. The Renault was the *last* to park up.

The Renault isn't parked its dumped in the middle of the road - don't be fooled by the reflection in the glass which looks like a kerb line, the car is well out from the right hand edge of the road! I'm pretty sure I know where this is and its prime commuter parking territory not least because over the road is a patch of waste ground that is used as a car park for £80 per month. I suspect someone has either lost his card to get in the car park or has decided that he can save a few quid by parking on the street. Try phoning the council enforcement bods - if he leaves it as badly parked as that, its going to be worth a go on their part putting a ticket on it, which might be all it takes to get him to go back to paying for the car park!

I wonder does the Renault owner think they have rights over the two blocked spaces? Could be they've "always parked there" and are trying to make a point...?

I am interested to know how the OP eventuallly gets out.

If the car moves before the OP then there is no problem.

If the OP has to wait until the owners of the other car arrive then it is obvious who they are and they can be spoken to.
