Problem with the picture is the cars park on what looks paved & the path is tarmac.

So the three cars on the left were all parked there, then Mr Renault came along and blocked in you and (probably) the Saxo, right?

In this instance the Renault was the last to pull up, so they blocked the others in. In any other situation the other cars could equally be at fault as it would be difficult to judge who did the blocking.

And if the Saxo wasn't there you'd get out. Why don't you park nearside to kerb where the Renault is?

I can't see how that would help?

Presumably, if everyone started parking on the right, Mr Renault would just park on the left?

The saxo was there first so did not do any blocking. I can't move the car to park elsewhere that's the whole point...

At least the Peugeot would be legally parked when dark.

You managed to park it there in the first place.

So it is all about who was there first.

Call the police and both will get a ticket.

Do you know the Saxo driver.

Why are some people making such a meal of this?

Clearly the Renault has blocked both the Pug and the Saxo in - stick a polite note on their windscreen, don't worry they are probably just a woman.

One could say so is the Renault. The driver has done the same as you. Parked bv the end on one side.
