I agree.
Unfortunately, there is a certain type of person who knows that if they lurk here they will encounter people who are using this forum for its stated purpose and will then get a chance to scoff and be generally obnoxious.
I suspect that type of person feels rather worthless in their day to day life and getting the chance to be smug and self-righteous makes them fell better about themselves for a while.
We should, I suppose, feel sorry for them.
Thanks Azari - What also concerns me is there could well be other issues/matters that an OP is dealing with personally at home that we are unaware of that can exagerate or increase feelings of anger and frustration over what might seem a relatively trivial matter, so when I see a reply like "The OP should Grow Up" I fear that it will only cause further stress and anxiety if not anger, certainly it's not helpful.0 -
Sainsburys cs is dire, been on the recieving end of it myself when ordering online. Wanted both pampers wipes ( babies bums ) and also sainsburys cheapo wipes ( cleaning) and ordered 30 packs of each, as bulk buy when possible. Sent me four packs of pampers wipes, and 56 packs of their cheapo ones. Told the driver to take 26 packs back with him and rang them, to be told that it was against their policy to allow bulk purchasing therefore I couldn't have my 30 packs of pampers wipes. Fine, but that doesn't explain why I was allowed to buy 56 packs of their own brand, and oddly enough, neither could the woman ( nor did she care ) - never used them since.
And I don't think the OP shoulod grow up, I would be furious! xx0 -
You must have had a lot of Nectar points to convert into vouchers to buy the item, so I would imagine you must shop at Sainsbury's from time to time to amass so many? I know you can collect at other places, but Sainsbury's is the primary sponsor.
Therefore, can you not just use your voucher on Sainsbury's products and buy the Vax from Vax?
Seems quite simples to me
I used to fill my company car up at Saisbobs & collected enough Nectar vouchers to get one of those portable DVD players for about £15 from Argos, the rest of the cost was made up in Nectar points.0 -
You basically need to grow up.
Presume with a comment like that your IQ is lower than my age? Also I think the maximum points you can redeem is £50 of Nectar points (10,000 points) in a single transaction. As a colleague found out when she tried to buy an online exclusive laptop.
So the OP is lying.
Er Nope..
Taken from my original post and highlighted the relevant part....

Please see my reply to your 1st comment.Stephen77 wrote:Correct me if wrong as I do not use nectar points.
If you had not seen the deal on JS you would not have cashed in your nectar points to be used with JS. You could have used those points with other retailers on the nectar scheme?
Now got a voucher only to be used with JS?
I can see why that would be annoying. .
Got it in 1, that is exactly what got me really annoyed and it was whilst waiting for the nectar points to arrive via email that Sainsburys withdrew the offer early, I have calmed down a little since.
For those stating why don't I buy something else? NO....If I did this I would use up the vouchers for something realistically I don't want and STILL have to buy a carpet cleaner. In the meantime I have borrowed my mothers until a suitable product appears.0
