thanks for all your supportive comments, guys, it's much appreciated. RootedNomad has it pretty much spot on, your thread is very much above the parapet because of its nature and because there have been many reports about it in the past so it's already treading on thin ice.

I appreciate how important this thread is to so many of you so if I can help to keep it 'in line' and keep its profile lower by occasional deletes and reminders then things won't get reported and it benefits both you and MSE in general. I'm grateful for your understanding

thanks for explaining, yes there were a few sticky points where there were alot of arguments and trolls on the thread and i can imagine alot of reporting was going on at the time (around the time of the electrical glitch i think when redfox first joined us?):A
