Just having a mooch around SSM and I came across this post which might be of interest to those of us ;) who have had posts removed due to alleged "spam" and "house rules". From the SSM facebook page:
I have had some posts removed due to being apparently reported as spam (which I can't see how they were spam as everything I post is genuine and abides by the house rules) - is there any way to find out why this has happened?
Supersavvyme Hi - Sorry. Looks like it was the automatic filter picking up part of a word that could have been the cause.

Wonder if that goes for the rest who have had posts removed as well.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

    Nice tip.

Here's another which can save paper as well as ink...

After this bit: "Once done let go of the left mouse button and you get a message stating the selected area has been copied."

    Do the following:

    1. Open Word, (or whatever you use as a word processor)
    2. Paste (Ctrl +V), press Enter (Return) key
    3. Repeat 2 above for as many times as you need for as many copies of the voucher you need.
    4. Get a grown up to help you cut out your coupons :p.

I get 4 Wrights coupons a page with this method.

    wrights.jpg

I can only get 2 that look readable or 3 that look too small !!

Had to download a word processor ( Abiword) as I couldn't find one on my lappy
    :(

i think i must have a different adobe as mine is different and cant find the snap tool at all :(

if i go in view then show/hide then toolbar items i can find the select & zoom but there is no snap tool in there??

I think a couple of us do not have the same versions of Adobe. The way mine works, which could be of assistance to you, is to save then open the file then go to Edit in the toolbar and select 'take a snapshot'

May your day be sunny and your coupons be clear :rotfl:

The size is a problem with Open Office, as with your word processor. When you paste the image in you can try resizing it. One way is possibly printing the original pdf once, scanning the coupon then comparing when you resize. That is a complicated way though.

i hate clothes shopping, as i am very tall 6ft 2 tall i can never find the length and size (fat) for me.

not me hun....i love the pair of you!!!

After reading back it does seem a bit weird...and me personally thinks that someone on here is on a one woman/man vendetta to have the thread ran their way :(

It certainly seems that specific people on here think of themselves as higher than the rest of us...its just a shame that they have such profound opinions/views yet hide behind the anonimity of the 'report' button and dont have the backbone to come forward and admit what they've done.

This is not aimed at the FT or mods...and most definately Redfox who is an asset to thhe Elite threads....the above is aimed at a regular poster on this thread.

On a separate note, we have sunshine here today instead of snow...so off to do the school run then browse a couple of Ts :)

    enjoy your day lovelies :)

Got to say I am in total agreement here Looby, couldnt have put it better myself and I'm fully expecting to see some of my posts to disappear today;);)

hc will take the joke on the chin...

as for the wrong end of the stick

    wouldn't be the 1st time

    have had posts deleted

    no bother

    win some lose some

    laureen hill

you might win some but you just lost one

Frequent just listened to your tune - words are good but not really my type of music. I really do hope as you say HC takes it on the chin, but i don't believe he should have to as i get the feeling he is feeling got at; at the moment - so any dig no matter whether meant or not as a joke, it was will feel exagerated and very personal. I would just hate to lose him again as i believe he benefits us as much as we benefit him - maybe thats just me being selfish - i don't know but we all have needs and HC fills a lot of those needs in myself and my personality and i believe for a lot of other people on here also .

He will be used to taking it on the chin :rotfl:

    Understand what you mean Bensonsmum.

Kind of like HC being around to.

    No more queen gags.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

morning , quick question please would someone be able to answer me please
i have a 7 off 50 spend( thanks to my partner finding it)
and i would like to buy 2 knifes
if i spend 50 quid including the knifes at full price
does the discount come off that price and then the discount for the knifes come off aswell?
    does that make sense?
