morning , quick question please would someone be able to answer me please
i have a 7 off 50 spend( thanks to my partner finding it)
and i would like to buy 2 knifes
if i spend 50 quid including the knifes at full price
does the discount come off that price and then the discount for the knifes come off aswell?
    does that make sense?

    thanks very much

    hello Helen

    have a 10 off a £30 spend to use

  • I really think I am losing my touch when it comes to Tesco lately....Bought some lovely blackcurrant tarts (with coupons I might add ;) ) They were dated the 29th, sat down with a cuppa to enjoy one on saturday but when I bit into it something in my mouth told me to spit it out, when I looked inside the tart was covered in FUR:eek::eek::eek:. As you can imagine I was horrified. I went straight to Tesco to show them. Cs just said oh sorry here is your money back and handed me £2, I just looked at her and said "is that it?, you could have made me very ill and all you offer is a refund. The manager was called and just said "we can not offer you anything here, the company might be in touch when we send them back for analysis. I said fine, you keep one but I will take one to give to the environmental health dept to see what they have to say. What do you guys think? Im sick and tired of being brushed off by Tesco, even at head office. When I called them last week because I had a run in with an extremely rude manager over DTD and batteries they investigated, called me back and said "sorry there must have been a mistake as the duracell batteries have not been on offer for a very long time":eek::eek::eek: (we all know thats a lie :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: ) Now either I am losing my touch or not being strong enough but cannot seem to get anywhere anymore when Tesco are in the wrong

    Morning all!

Lovely sunny day here in Belfast, DS off school due to St. Paddies day so we've planned to hit some T's then get Pizza Hut buffet for lunch, he's just to decide which way we travel to start our journey :)

Got some good news re house situation after being made very upset on Thursday by stupid man in housing place.
Phoned about house on Thursday as no one had contacted me about the one they'd offered us (I'd phoned to confirm that I'd be interested in it 2 weeks ago!) It just needed safety checks and a repair check done and I'd been phoning regularly about them but nothing ever seemed to be on the system :(
I couldn't speak to the right housing officer all of last week so just rang the normal number on Thursday to see if anyone else could get me info on progress. The guy I spoke to wouldn't even take my name but did tell me that tennants would be moving in on the 12 April due to a change in person offered the house  He said the name of the tennant had been changed on Monday, so needless to say I panicked and started crying the second I got off the phone. It put a downer on the rest of the weekend cause no one in the office could confirm if I'd lost this house too!
Anyway just off the phone with housing officer and she said that the guy has done this to so many people at the end of last week that all they have done this morning is get calls from very upset tennants.

WELL THE HOUSE IS MINE!!!!!!!!!!!! :T
We move in by the 12th April but the housing officer is doing everything in her power to speed the contractors up but I'm happy and so is DS, the only problem i'm having now is where I'll put a 10ft trampoline, there's no garden only a small yard DS said that he wants to keep it and hopefully in a few years we'll be able to swap with someone who has a garden but in the meantime he could just have it up in his bedroom :rotfl:
The nearest Ts is 5 mins walk just a pitty it's one I'm not too fond of :( been trouted too much in there :D

    SPC 2014 £1100:D

For those without bread makers, make a batch and bake together to save time and pennies, then bag and freeze.

It doesn't matter if you only have one load tin. Do one in a tin, a tray of baps and then experiment with circular loaves, plaits, etc. get adventurous with those things lingering in your pantry too... Poppy seeds, sesame seeds, oats, etc to decorate the top.

Show us your pics too (but make em small please)

Hope you have a 'wrights' good day. ;)
