Sending you some big hugs Tiny, can really relate to the memory loss and morphine stuff with my dad:( I know it's really hard & heartbreaking at times.
DS has just shown me his timetable for uni and he won't be with me for his birthday in November(Must be a mum thing to check;))
No harm in a few tears, sometimes really helps to let it all out and it's hardly surprising with what your going through at the moment. xxxx

    Thanks Nikki.

I know we could have gone to see her like we did for DD1s last year but she is so much closer than DD2 and with mum being like she is makes it bit difficult to stay over anywhere.

Maybe your DS would be close enough for a birthday visit when the time comes (sorry have forgotten where he decided on :o), think how many Ts you could fit in on the way. ;)

Yippee my rice krispies rocky road squares just arrived. :D

I felt good this morning when I helped an elderly gentleman in my local t's. And he had a good dtd too :)

With his shopping he bought 4 loose apples and when he paid he was charged £6.40!!!
The mistake was made by the sa on the till he weighed all 4 apples together and then put it through x4 as there was 4 apples!
I could see he was a little puzzled after paying so much for his little shop so I asked if he needed any help, he said gosh that shop cost a lot! I looked at his receipt and told him where the error was and told him he had to go to cs to sort it out, seeing miss super trout on cs I explained to him all about t's overcharge policy and told him to make sure they refunded the right amount.
He was so happy bless him to receive his dtd of £9.60 and it made my day :)

:j:j Thank-you Cosmic for the Hotel Chocolat :j:j......Just tried my luck and won an Extra Thick Egg and an Easter Sleekster box of chocolates. Will have to go to Bristol to collect them, as no shop in Cardiff.

Went whoopseing last night, very pleased with what I got:
    joint of pork
3 x steak mince from fresh meat counter
2 x casserole steak from fresh meat counter
    pkt. salmon fillets
    Youngs king Prawns
    2 Reggae Reggae meals
    Tesco finest meat balls meal
    Tesco pizza
    Pizza express pizza (large)
    Finest leek & mushroom parcels
    chocolate cheesecake
    2 fresh cream doughnuts
    2 custard doughnuts
    2 x bags carrots
    leeks
    courgettes
    cheese topped bread
8 bunches/bouquets flowers ( have kept 3 and put the rest on my Grand parent's graves)

    All for £18.27 :j:j
I got there just as they started to make the final reductions and about 8 of us were there handing items to the young boys to be marked down. There was no unpleasantness and people were passing things to one and other. The young boys reducing stuff were great and even having a laugh with us all.

Tinyshoes...so sorry to hear you feel a bit down today...*hugs*

  • I just spoke to my SIL who was telling me that they went to T's last Saturday night around 9ish.. only to see 4 full trolleys of Christmas decorations, cards, trees and wrapping paper being wheeled towards CS... My SIL stopped them and asked if she could buy some of the wrapping paper... only to be told, No, their for the staff not members of the public!!!!!!

Totally against Tesco policy and a potential disciplinary for whoever sanctioned it.
