    Idea for price flops:

Buy 6 of the cadbury treasure eggs at £2 each but also 2for1.

    6 X £2 = £12
    £12 - price flop = £9.50
    £9.50 - £6 (2for1) = £3.50 for 6 eggs
Why buy them - they are free at hotel chocolat

Thanks Beki, I'm usually the last to fall to pieces over things like this but eyes keep watering today. Though the thought of me robbing Ts made me smile. Thanks x
Sometimes it helps to have a good cry , don't be afraid to do it!
And see it as taking from the rich to give to the poor I do :D

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Just wondered if anyone has heard from Wool27 I know she was moving last friday but did not get round to catching up with her. Hope her car was fixed in time.

If you are lurking hope everything went well and you are settling in ok. x

    I've been catching up. :)

    Morning all.

Was very good yesterday and got all my baking and tidying done. Finished the fairy cakes off with some 12p chocolate frosting from a whoopsie. ;)

Bit sad today my mum is really struggling and her memory is starting to go and she is getting very confused not sure if because of morphine dose she needs to take. It is starting to remind me of how my dad's last few months were and it is 10th anniversary today of losing him. So I'm not feeling on top of the world so think I will be a bit on the quiet front today anyway.

It was awful 10 years ago with dad in hospital knowing he was on his last and having to put a brave face on for the girls birthdays but he held out until they were over bless him. Has been odd this year not being with DD2 for the first time on her birthday think it is the first time not been with any of them on their day. She came home yesterday and we had a double celebration for her and DD3 with DD1 coming home too which was a nice surprise.

Sorry for bringing the thread down just needed a friendly ear to listen. :o

Sending you some big hugs Tiny, can really relate to the memory loss and morphine stuff with my dad:( I know it's really hard & heartbreaking at times.
DS has just shown me his timetable for uni and he won't be with me for his birthday in November(Must be a mum thing to check;))
No harm in a few tears, sometimes really helps to let it all out and it's hardly surprising with what your going through at the moment. xxxx
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • I think Hotel Chocolat may have run out of good stuff.

The FB page seemed to freeze for a while and now I have just had about 20 'individual egglet' in a row.
If you're not scared, you're not paying attention
