don't know quite what to say reallybut sending hugs and thinking of you.
I know what its like to be left out of things and the feelings that go with it,but please don't feel worthlessit truly is their loss!
You are worth you're weight in gold :A You're 'name' is one that I have always recognised as being helpful/friendly/caring and I am sure I'm not only speaking for myself!
when you see the doctor say something like 'I would like you to refer me' steer away from 'can you' 'will you' i.e don't give him a chance to 'get out of it' hope that makes sence
tell him how it really is making you feel and stand you're ground.I know thats easier said than done especially how you are feeling (it has taken me years to put thinks like this into action, and still struggle today)

Awww bless you :A THANK YOU, that's extremely kind and though I definitely don't feel like I'm worth my weight in gold, far from it actually, your comments have really cheered me up!! So thank you:o:o:Axxx
Lol I'm actually quite good at standing my groundI've had to be! Fortunately/unfortunately I've had a lot of experience with docs/hosp and also know from experience that decisiveness and being assertive is key
(I learnt this when I was about 9 and a nurse came to flush my blocked canula out at 3am and it hurt like hell!;):p I soon learnt the art of voicing my opinion! :rotfl:)On a more serious note my GP is amazing!! She is such a lovely lovely lady and has seen me right through all my health problems since I was a child. I've seen a few others lately as I haven't been able to make an app with her but I'm seeing her today and she's always so helpful and understanding :A I agree wholeheartedly with everything you offered in the way of advice though, it's so true.

Fudge Cake, just been reading yout posts.
You have so much going on, Alzheimers is such a cruel disease. It affects everyone thats involved with that person's care. Sounds like you and your mum are doing a fantastic job. :A :AChin up. As far as the 'problem family' go, like everyone else has said, karma will bite them on the proverbial hopefully!

Yeah I watch what I use now but I'm so concious of the rash I won't go out without make up
Unless I'm walking the doggies that is!
