Oh; and Fudge Cake- Misery Guts is becoming better trained. He has found stuff in N*****a! Although I think if he is capable of getting it home in one piece, it certainly wont be within 30 mins of getting home!

And he did us all proud on the cheese chase last night, taking one through the till for me to check it was £1 before i went through with 5 more.

He just didnt realise i could see it on the SA screen anyway!

Have started using the ssm today too, im giving thumbs up to anyone I recognise! Also got some of the cheese yesterday in Br*stol, wasn't much left though, I did try to get the woman next to me who was picking up a pack of seriously strong stuff to swap for the £1 cheese but she wasn't interested as her bf doesn't like it. My bf doesn't get any choice!:rotfl:

    Hello Queen of Cheap! :hello:
  • Just got off phone to head office with the complaint I had about the way I was spoken too by a manager on Sunday reg DTD, they are going to call the store and phone me back but did say that I was in the right and should have had DTD (although I dont hold out hope as Happy said, as I had my refund they wont do anything) Also as I was on a roll I thought I would tell them about an instance 6 months ago, sure I told you all before but I had gone to self scanners and asked the sa if she could check a price on some car sponges, she glarred at me and said "no I can not do that as its pilfering":eek::eek: I was mortified at being called a thief for just asking to check a price. (may I just add this was not a glitch or dtd deal :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) so wrote a letter of complaint to the store manager and hand delivered it to him in person. I have never to this day received an apology or an acknowledgement. Head office have asked me to email them a copy of the letter so they can investigate. I have never called them before so it was nice to vent to someone.

Have not had chance to catch up over the last 24 hrs so sending (((((((hugs)))))))) to anyone who needs them:)

Fudge I don't think you will have paid over the odds for anything some of my bits were marked higher but scanned cheaper. And my 50p boots aren't leather as much as I would like them to be. ;)

Can't believe your skin problem sounds so much like mine. I had a rash on my face for around 7 years so the skin has been left quite thin from the constant healing. Creams helped a bit but the doctor prescribed me with oxytetracycline from memory, think for acne though the rash looked nothing like it, this would clear it up fairly quickly. First year was on them for at least a month, might have even been 3 months first time and then every few months would have to take a course again.

Eventually the gaps between taking any meds got bigger, I guess yearly to 18 months and then I have not had to take anything for at least 5 years now. Have never had it diagnosed properly but GP did wonder if it was a kind of Rosacea, not sure if spelt properly, but definitely as you describe a butterfly rash. I was tested for Lupus too when I was referred to consultant with my joint pain but thankfully only osteoarthritis. Though not brilliant diagnosis was relieved.

I find things can irritate my face quite easily so tend to wear makeup rarely and wash with only water but the rest of my body copes fine now with anything I throw at it. The worst thing is my nose always goes very red just before a flare up and it looks like I have been drinking and I hardly every touch a drop and if I do I shine like a beacon, I guess the blood vessels are so close to the surface. The cold and hot weather are my worst enemy. :(

And don't worry about all your rantings, all friends here and ready to listen. :)

Thank you Tinyshoes....I'm saying that a lot lately! You really are very helpful so thank you :D I will ask about the oxytetracycline, my sister had it years ago for acne. The sad thing with me is that very often I can't have any of the tablets I could benefit from as they interfere with something I'm already taking! :o It's extremely frustrating! But I'll ask my GP in a bit if she thinks it's a goer!

Cold weather is horrendous, I suffer with Raynauds too so my hands and feet and lips are always deep purple  Very fetching! :p And the cold weather dries my skin out too which makes the rash worse. Yeah I watch what I use now but I'm so concious of the rash I won't go out without make up :o Unless I'm walking the doggies that is! :p

Fudge Cake - karma hon. Just keep positive that karma will bite some day. I've seen it happen and I'm clinging to it at the minute. Thank you for the kind words as well :o

Thanks Caz and yes I agree about karma. I do have a positive attitude (despite ranting :o) and I'm really strong, I know I am because it's ridiculous everything that's happened over the last 9 years, I really don't know how I'm still standing so I am proud of myself but it's very frustrating when the people you need support from the most in life, the people who you would think would be the most proud of you, treat you like muck on their shoes. You begin to feel like you're blowing your own trumpet and then the whole cycle of feeling worthless and frustrated starts again...hmpppphhh! I would just love from them to feel loss and guilt, that would bring me a little peace and comfort that I'm not worthless but unfortunately it seems I can't even get them to feel that :( My anger is further compounded by the fact that everyone on the outside thinks my Dad and Sister are fine, upstanding people and I'm just the saddo in the corner defined by having a mental illness. It's such a shame in this day and age but there's sooooo much prejudice and judgment and it seems I'll never shake the label of 'anorexic'

:T:T:T Yay well done toni! :D Practice makes perfect and as long as you can catch it at the right time between bouts of morning/afternoon sickness, the practice also makes for yummy tasting sessions :D Any excuse for cake I say!
