i am sure we all agree its not only the money, its the buzz of getting something below general sale price. (hopefully free)

Spot on there Zippy:D Hopefully this is not taken in the wrong way but, probably like a number of people on this thread, I don't need to grab every bargain to make ends meet. There is however something in me that probably derives from growing up in a poor(moneywise) family. Why spend more than you have to as long as it doesn't take up time that should be devoted to the things that money can't buy:cool:

    :beer::beer: Smart1e!

Didn't think we would get this in Scotland what with our mental alcohol laws, but the T&C's clearly state available in Scotland

Only thing is neither of the Coops in the 'Sneck are 'participating' rolleye0010.gifrolleye0010.gifrolleye0010.gif but you can get it in Nairn confused0024.gif
so guess I'll be taking a drive through there when the coupon comes through :D:D:D

I couldn't get the page to load when I put in my postcode but am heading to Sneck on Sunday so if they are in by then, might stop in by Nairn.

I can't understand what was going on at my store with the £1 sale. When I posted about it being on a while back, I went in a couple of days later and it was all gone. I Actually asked DH if I'd imagined it! Anyway, here is a pic of the stuff I picked up.

A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist

Of course I have:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:that's one of my secret backup ones;)It's not that big, and no SS but I have had one or two ;)glitches in there. I always used to be able to rely on it for a rack of lamb or betty crocker on the old DTD;)Never had any trouble with coupons in there and might:cool:have had the odd dtd in there too.

Are there any scanners there? I have a friend in Penn Heights so pop to Richy every now and again for a catch up ;) I used to work in Maple Cross next to the Basset building (not sure if it is still there), opposite the Cross. We used to pop along to Denham Village for a drink every now and again :)

sorry to most of this thread but i wish i could thank 10 fold.
my wife always picks on me for going to t3sc0. but i have cut our weeky bill down from £75 to £30. and she still moans. sometimes i wish i was married to an 11+er.
on a personal note i told my niece about this site, and she has to guess who i am. so hello vicky its me jimmy. (unlikely she will read this at this time of night):D

In fairness to Mrs Zippy, this thread does take a lot of work to keep on top of but in my case, the 11+ threads only took off when the ex left. He would give off if I was on my lappy in the evenings as I was meant to spend them glued to the TV or fawning over him. Had it not been for this site his kid from 1st marriage wouldn't have had all the nice stuff I bought her (clothes, toys etc). My boys were provided for only by me so when I got told off for buying a £20 cot from an M&S glitch posted on here, I should have seen red then. In reality that's probably why I got grief. I was the only one saving any money so it was of no interest to him to find the best deals as muggins here paid for everything.

This site has helped me so much over the last few months. Over on the NI boards there is a fair bit of banter (lots of which most folk outside NI wouldn't 'get'). The Grabbits have some great bargains but no really great ones recently. This thread however has such a great family feel to it. It's hard to pull yourself away at times and it's all too easy to give off and wish people (like me!) would stop gassing and just post the deals but that's for the 13 thread, not our lovely 11+ one.

It would be a real bonus if Mr Caz v2 was an 11+ er as I think only we can understand the draw of this site and especially this thread.
People born before 1946 were called The Silent and powerful generation.
People born between 1946 and 1964 are called The Baby Boomers
People born between 1965 and 1979 are called Generation X
And people born between 1980 and 2012 are called Generation Y
Why do we call the last group Generation Y?

Phew, I just about make it into Generation X :T

Right it's time to turn off Big Fat Gypsy eyesores and watch something decent. My eyes are hurting from all the wedding outfits and the state of the body grinding coming from the young girls. I'm so glad I have boys!

No, you've lost nothing. Facebook is just remembering you from your previous log in.
I've had that happen to me a few times on SSM MC.

Log out of facebook, look at a few threads on here then go back to facebook on your second account. It will then show as normal. ;)
Remember You're a Womble !! Keep Tesco Tidy.
