Fully agree, my OH was spending at least £150 a week on the main shop and did a couple of other shops to supplement it. He admits that we spend a fraction of what he used to spend now I am doing the shopping.
He still does not understand why I spend so much time planning what i am buying. He's on a high income, I don't need to work, however, I grew up in a poor family and we could not afford anything and I think finding the best deal is embedded in me, I can't just buy what I want, I have to think I am getting the best deal. I get a buzz from getting a bargainAvatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

My priority was to take to/from school and be there for him during holidays/i dont like the idea of babysitter/. I just walk past his school 2 days ago, thought i will ask and bingo, meal supervisor position has just been vacated that day. Extremely happy, job tailor made for me.
Well done You :TCompletely understand where your coming from, I lurked for ages and my DH really used to get the hump with me disappearing to T's all the time;)In fact at one time I think he thought i was having an affair:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:But now he loves it, he loves all the glitches and today he couldnt wait to tell me the milk & more man had delivered and he was desperate to open my cotton traders parcel. When he moaned once in the early days I said ok fine,I won't go on the board anymore and I won't do anymore glitches and you'll have to pay more towards food and stuff. He thought about it for 1/2 hour and then thought better of it;)
Can't you persuade her to join in a bit when you go, or better still pick up some girlie glitches to sweeten her a bit. My DH got really keen after he did the beer glitch on his own, and I always give him loads of praise if he gets a glitch himself, keeps him happy;);)
Ditto Nikki - as you know my OH now posts & loves the thread as much as I dozippydooda wrote: »this post means a lot to me, as my wife is always asking me what im typing. im sure she thinks im having an affair. i always say you can read what i post if you like. so why do i feel guilty when im on this site in front of her.:(
I can see where she is coming from as the thread takes at least a few hours a day to read & keep up, so could be misconstruedOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...

nikkilala, have you been to any T's near Rickmansworth. There are not many my way but I know there is one in Ricky, looks like it is near the Aquadrome, was thinking of checking it out. Have you been there?Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0

Now he asks me what t's are up to :rotfl:

I second what Snap-ant has said, ebay seems so expensive these days, I'm finding more bargains in Ts these days.Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -
