locarr, you are a naughty man! Tip - sometimes you should leave 'em wanting more.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.

Interesting what this search has brought up...I now see why we're described as being a 'high profile' thread. Maybe omitting the word Tesco from the thread title and just T's or something similar would include less results in a search? I could be wrong though...

Just back and here my "field report"...:rotfl:
Found the men's black dressing gown for £1 - A/W 10 ans b/c 5092. I left 4 more on the shelf if anyone is in Milt0n Ke7nes and wants to PM me. Plus I hunted down the choc/seasonal aisle about 4 times, kept remembering nikkilala's words of "look up on the very shelf and down on the very bottom" and lo and behold, 4 boxes of Galaxy promises (caramel) suddenly appeared in front of my eyes! Couldn't believe it. Totally made up.

also picked up an Airwick candle, spiced apple/mulled wine, SEL of all the others are £4 but this is 78p. smells lovely. Will be going back for lots more for Xmas gifts methinks.

And the woman who put my things through was lovely, she remarked on my prices and was the opposite of Trouty from trouty Lane... so what is the terminology for a nice SA? (someone asked this earlier this afternoon)

Finally,I found my first working scanner too, it excited me more than anything as I've never seen one before.. i was in my element scanning away :D
    Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find

    Xmas Saver!
Only managed to find the Thorntons choccies, which is frustrating as they say Xmas on the front so not too useful for gifts.... Really fancied the Dessert chocs but never mind. The guy running the SS tills was more than happy to put them through in mulitiples, which was handy cos scanning 46 boxes would have taken a while.........

Evening all , thought I would never catch up with you all, not much to report from my neck of the woods :mad:Quickly nipped into a local (but not my usual)store for some salad bits for dinner on my way home from a docs appointment and had to check for the vast array of 1p chocs (Hubby has almost finished the cdm stash)......and nothing to be seen. Did spot the jars of pickled onions from a few days back, 8 of them on the shelf and no SEL. No scanners instore so took a chance and took 3 but they went through at £1.24 ok :D, DH and myself love pickled onions anyway so well pleased and maybe head back for the rest tomorrow

Also I have a problem someone may be able to help me with :)
At the minute I have an unopened email containing a voucher for some free beer :p, but unfortunately there doesnt seem to be a store in N.Ireland that will take it, tried DS in England but no good to him either, so was wondering if someone[STRIKE] has[/STRIKE] knows of an email address that I could donate it to:whistle:My pm box is currently empty if somone can help;)
