Why am I using so much KWH of electricity ?

Log your meter reading. Switch off the u/f heating and take another reading 24 hours later. Switch it on again and repeat.
Not totally accurate (as it will depend on other consumption), but it should give you some idea of how many kWh the heating is accounting for.
You can also analyse those 14 figures above seasonally to see if the consumption falls in the months when the u/f heating is off.
What about your immersion heater?
If it's not these two, then something is drastically wrong and you need to investigate urgently. You are spending around £1,500pa just on electricity alone! That's more than the average bill for dual fuel.
Why not just buy a cheap fridge for the drinks?
No immersion heater.Have a Worcester Bosch high efficiency condensing boiler with a storage tank with provides hot water for our en suite shower.
Our kids(two teenagers ) have an electric power shower in their bathroom though.I should maybe monitor the meter when the first one goes in and the second one comes out.
£218 a month I pay duel fuel to EON.12 panels south facing,8 panels south-east facing,4KWP system,pitch 40 degrees,Aurora inverter & location is sunny Glasgow.0 -

Just picked these summer readings. Approx 15kwHrs/day is about 67% above an unweighted annual "average" consumption. So even in summer there is some "mystery" consumption to look for.
Edit: just seen your post about the "electric power shower". Is that pumped electrically heated water or pumped gas heated water?0 -
£2,616pa! Eek!
Have you gone back through your annual figures to see if the usage sharply increased at a particular date?
A 9 or 10Kw electric shower uses a lot of power, but it's only on for a few minutes a day (well, teenagers excepted maybe).
At 10kw, it would still only cost about 30p for a 15 min shower.
Has the meter been changed recently? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Get one of the plug adaptor power meters and see how much power it is using (and do the same for other items around the house).
3 or 4 years ago we replaced a fridge freezer we'd had for ~10 years. Bought new A+ rated items - fridge that was the same size as the old tall fridge freezer + 2 small freezers. Result was we had 2x the fridge and freezer capacity ... but it used about half the electricity.0 -

Pumped electrically I'm sure.
Wondering about my beer fridge/freezer.Switched it off at 0830am and read the meter as previous post at 21485.Four hours later it's at 21487.Wife at work and kids at school etc just now, so not much else on, but that would only be 12kwh over 24hr based on that 4 hour period.12 panels south facing,8 panels south-east facing,4KWP system, pitch 40 degrees,Aurora inverter & location is sunny Glasgow.0 -

As a newbie to here I would like to say thanks to all who have taken the time to give this some thought for me.

I'm in a similar position, I had solar panels installed about 4 months ago so thought that would help. I now only use the dishwasher, washing machine etc in the daytime, but my last quarter I still used 2210kwh worth of electricity that cost £307.
I also have gas central heating and no electric showers. The only thing I can think of is the 2 pc's that are on a lot, both have 500w power supplies, but apart from that I just don't see where the electricity goes.
I also replaced all my light bulbs and spot lights to led so the only use 4 watts each.
Any one know how I can trouble shoot my usage.
thanks.0
