The letter I had from them states they will be obtaining a copy of my credit file in order to assess the account for litigation so they are using this to obtain the mortgage value and then checking the property value before issuing I am guessing.0

If it hasn't been mentioned already people should also watch out for 1st credit, who since having their knuckles rapped by the OFT for issuing Stat demands willy nilly, are now not only issuing stat demands but are also following through with them. Have seen a great increase over the past 6 months..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I've just had a letter from these cretins and like one of the aboves posts its says that they are obtaining a copy of my credit file to assess etc. (I have no assets or property btw)
Now I've been having a row with Lowells for the best part of a year over a catalogue debt that I am disagreeing over. After 5 letters of complaint they sent a CCA and low an behold it has no signature on it? How can they enforce something that I did not sign.
Thoughts please.0 -

Can these nice people chase you up or put a ccj or charge on property once you have gone bankrupt (went yesterday)?
Or
Can they come hunting you down in a few years time if we ever pay anything off our mortgage?

Lowell still chase me for debts which were part of my bankruptcy 6years ago. The last letter I had last month I called them again and read my script (this was part of my bankruptcy 6years ago etc...) but the curt person told me it makes no difference and they can still take me to court and bankrupt me for a second time words words words.....
I just laughed and told them to do it.
