I had lots of conditioner left over so bought shampoo to balance it out and suddenly I have 15 sets of the stuff:eek:Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -
Hi to UUs to report - Neutrogena Hand Cream - an HG night hand cream for me so will def buy again, and Toni and Guy Spray Gel for Curls - discontinued so can't buy again
. I've also been through my make up stash and chucked everything more than 3 years old as I'm sure I've seen somewhere that it's not hygienic to keep it longer than that. I'm determined not to buy anything else til all my existing stuff is gone!!

Hello my lovelies,
I'm not around much at the moment but I'm still doing the challenge.
I have no ins to report. :j :beer:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
My last UU's for the month:-
Listerine Mouth Wash WBA - and already have.
Clinique Take the Day Off - WBA as so far it is my HG product. I have one more in the stash.
These UU's take me to 350 UUs since starting the challenge. :jNo buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Well done Jacks :beer::beer::beer:
I've got a couple of UUs
L'Occitane Fabulous Serum - WBA definately
Sanctuary Handwash - WBA, but have now moved on to my beloved L'Occitane
L'Occitane Immortelle Cream Mask 5ml - WBA, but I have another face mask that is taking forever to use up
A couple of splutterers:
Avon Frizz Ease
Aveda Foot Relief
I will be better in April0 -
The month is finishing with a flourish.
Non -bought IN's from FB wins/offers. L'Oreal Everpure Shampoo and Conditioner. Had to email for them, as mentioned, but they have arrived.
Another from L'Oreal: a Intense Color Riche lippy in Burning Rose.
Completely the wrong shade for my lip shape but will make a nice gift.
My daughter won't wear it, so I think I'll see if my son has any ideas as to which of the many females he works with would like it.
This week I've spent £2.29 on L'Oreal and had INs worth around £27 on RRP...Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Oh my. I can't believe it is the end of March already. I'm feeling rather shellshocked! Still, a good final used up to report:
32. Garnier Essentials 2-in-1 Make-up Remover (150ml) - I use this primarily as my eye make-up remover. It's great and I have two more left to use
I also have to admit that I gave in and ordered the salon size of the Decleor mask the other day. It hasn't arrived yet but I'm counting it as a March in because I want to have a good April
In - Decleor Clay & Herbal Cleansing Mask (200ml)
So, four Decleor ins and the Neal's Yard rose moisturiser magazine freebie. Plus my beauty box ins. I can't work out how many outs I've had this month - my brain is too foggyI really want to have no extra ins for April.

No more UU's to finish the month, my skin was not looking too great so decided to stop using all the odds and ends I was trying to UU, may have been just a bad mix, as all the individual products have been good in the past. I have started using my Espa trial set, so far so good, so should have 4 UU's in 2/3 weeks time.
I do have to confess to having ordered the Gatineau TSV, the Melatogenine Eye Concentrate is one of my HG's, and my eyes have been looking decidedly baggy:eek:.
The big advantage of this challenge for me, is that I no longer wander through, Boots, etc just gathering things up because I need a shopping fix, my purchases my be high end, but all are well thought out first, so thank you all for your inspiration. Look forward to seeing you on the April thread.:AThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Evening everyone,
Final UU for the month
No 7 Lipgloss tube in a candyfloss pink colour - WNBA, I don't think I'll ever have to buy lip gloss again!! There was a tiny bit left in this but it was not worth cutting the tube open for. It had also started to taste a bit plasticy so time for the bin I think.
Also a TA - Urban Decay mascara from a face palette - I had never opened this but it was still all dried up when I opened it this morning, it has been lurking in the stash for a few years. I'm not too devastated, it was a silly little travel size and I know the little brush would have been too fiddly and got on my nerves.
A couple of Ins from my trip to town today as well.
Witch Hazel tinted moisturiser - was half price in Boots at £3 so am going to give it a shot in the hope that it doesn't make me all shiny like other tinted moisturisers do.
Free sample of chocolate body butter from the BS - I didn't even have to go in, the SA was at the door handing these out!
See you all in April! No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -
Maddiemay - I can really identify with what you just wrote. I was kicking myself for giving in to the Decleor offer but at the same time I was really pleased with the price and I put a lot of thought into the choices I made. Thanks to this challenge I'm no longer wasting money on random buys and I'm happier putting money towards a few products that I will enjoy using. I was soooo pleased with the rose facial oil that I bought :j
I'm trying to keep half of my skincare routine settled even though it means that my used up tally is a bit slower. For example, in the morning I use an eye cream that I don't like much so I can use it up but in the evening I use my favourite Clinique one so that my eyes don't go too wrinkly! For bodycare even though I can use pretty much anything without trouble I'm swapping between things that I'm trying to use up and favourites so that I don't get sad :rotfl:I'm hopeful that this approach will keep me in the challenge longterm0
