I'm sneaking back just before the end of the month to admit some ins, I'm headed to the naughty step now.
2x Elemis anti-ageing collection, each contains pro radiance cream cleanser 150ml, soothing apricot toner 200ml, papaya enzyme peel 50ml, PCMC 15ml, a bag and cleansing mitt..total spend £57.12 so bargainous at least. Ironically I wouldn't have even looked had I not seen a post on here re 3 for 2 and free gift with £70 spend, and of course having no will power instantly had to google that, resisted for a couple of days and then although I didn't buy those offers found this collection too good to resist. Can't recall who the OP was but thanks as you led me to a bargain. Is it wrong that I don't feel at all guilty? Will declare other ins (from exchanges/freebies) when I have time to sort them out on Sunday. Hope you all have a great weekend.

A UU Elvive Full Repair 250 ml conditioner. Have already replaced with the 400 ml size from the Tesco BOGOF and £1.50 L'Oreal Insiders coupon. A really good conditioner this one.

I had an email today that said my L'Oreal Expertise SLS free shampoos are now on their way. I had given these up for lost so bought the Elvive.

A tiny TA. An Olay 30 second wrinkle filler 7 ml sample. I think this is designed to be worn under foundation, it's so heavy and looks awful. I haven't had to wear foundation since I was a spotty teenager. This may change though, noticed a few little rosacea-type marks appearing recently. Oh well, it was good whilst it lasted in not buying foundation - 35 years!
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.
  • ok I lied, this is the last UU for the month :)
Dior capture r 60/80 wrinkle correction cream sample - The sample was too small to see if this is a product that I wba. Having said that, I am a huge fan of dior skincare for both their scent and moisturising qualities. Just a shame that the sample was too small, but it was nice. I doubt I would invest that kind of money in this product at this age however.

VALM -hope you got some goodies from Cheshire Oaks. I walked past the L'occitane shop last time I was there but chickened out as there were two SAs in there and no customers and I'm hopeless at browsing in such situations.

Have been getting through a lot of handcream recently as I noticed a lot of dry skin between the fingers where I wear my engagement ring. I haven't taken it off in ages. But I did and even now, 3 days later, I still have a big red mark on my finger. I feel naked without though!

Resisited the BS offer with 40% and TCB. I was tempted but a quick peek in the stash put an end to that!!

See you all in April....

MrM didn't go in the end. Know what you mean. It puts me off when a shop is empty like that.

I've put together my list of Ins and Outs for this month which I'll post in a while (am just catching up with thread) and I've been through two lots of hand cream this month alone. My skin generally is feeling drier - even after using L'occitane liquid soap. Have a L'Occitane Lavender hand cream to open today and it is the last hand cream in my stash. I do have other hand lotions so maybe I'll take one of these to work with me and then get a small sized tube for my bag next time.
It is going to contain the fragrance Summer Grace - don't know what else but usually they have fragrance, shower gel, body lotion so you can do the layering thing...But as Scrappie says:...

If you get sucked in, you will either be jumping for the phone or AY will need you on QCut or the red active button to avoid the queues on the phonelines! I have to say though that their TSVs are fantastic value - if you can be firm and just stick to buying the TSVs then you will be quids in.

That's really good advice kiplingmonkey but have you seen the TSVs coming up in April? There are three that are potential danger zones for me : Philosophy (I really am short of fragrance), LD (not short of nail lacquer but I really don't think you can have too many although his TSVs have been leaving me cold lately), Elemis which features my beloved PCMC.

Found myself getting quite excited at the thought of a new 'Grace'

but is this not the one that was launched last yr?? In a green bottle??? Seem to remember getting all snappy with Mummy Scrappie when I realised she had ordered this for herself and not me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It was def a 'grace' and def in a green bottle.

The only grace I don't like is 'baby' - smells too much of baby talc:D
My fave is most deff 'inner' but have lots of 'pure' and 'amazing' still to use too. My friends/ family all bought me this at the same time. I hardly ever buy fragrance for myself - I consider it to be extravagant. Somehow I just find it really hard to justify it. If only I had that problem with shower gel, moisturiser, wrinkle creams, face serums, night creams, lip golss.................:p

The green Grace last year was Eternal Grace. I got the TSV with it in and I still have the body lotion to use up along with all the Pure Grace shower gels/lotions that came in the kit. It was nice but not so nice that I would repurchase. The fragrance itself didn't last long one me. Prefer the AG and PG more. I don't like any of their other fragrances but would definitely try this new one.

Thought I would post here though for anyone who does not visit ST.com and likes shopping with the Q that one of their customers has entered a dispute with them over the 30day MBG. Apparently she returned the Perricone TSV to them within the 30days but before she had used 50% of the product they refused to refund her saying that she had used too much of it! After her complaining that this is not mentioned in the published Terms and conditions and that it's mentioned on air constantly that the customer is fine to do this she has got a refund. She herself suspects it's because of the cost of the refund itself but I myself think it's naughty of them.
Yes to carrots hand creme - WBA but TA, repurposed as body lotion but just never seemed to end. i think i got bored of it's longevity and moved on and never went back. it'd been sat there for months.

I had a tube of this and loved it but like you say it was a LHJ in the end.

I am definitely going after this post but had to tell someone. I am shocked and dismayed that MrM has ....

a secret stash of Elemis goodies of his own! It's a long story but I've managed to get into a little hoo ha on Ebay and MrM suggested I put some samples in with the sale item to appease the Buyer. I said I don't have any samples. So he says what about these? and comes out of the bathroom with 3 of the sample tubes of Elemis products. There are 6 in total! Just shows you don't really know someone :rotfl:
