Kiplingmonkey - you do make me laugh!! BM 2 of everything - you go girl!!!!
Found myself getting quite excited at the thought of a new 'Grace'
but is this not the one that was launched last yr?? In a green bottle??? Seem to remember getting all snappy with Mummy Scrappie when I realised she had ordered this for herself and not me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It was def a 'grace' and def in a green bottle.
I may have 2 x BM but still doesn't equal your LG x 4! That is def going some...
I think they said that the Summerr Grace was limited edition and only available in the Summer. I didn't buy last year so am watching with interest this year as I really like Pure and Amazing G..you only got 5? i would get in touch with them xx
I did get a cosmetofruit drink but haven't added that as I don't class that as tolietries. Anyone know if you are meant to dilute it or just do you knock it back in 1?
Willowbee - thamks for the reply. Like you I thought it was great value and was still pleased with what I received - would have just liked to try the L'Occ cream.0 -

This has been a bad week for ins for me, but in my defence it was my birthday.
Ins: Clinique All About Eyes
Clinique Superbalm
Clinique Creme Eyeshadow
Clinique Red Lipstick
Clinique GWP
L'Occitane Verbena Travel Set
L'Occitane Shea Travel Set (GWP)
L'Occitane Shea Hand Cream
Benefit Garden of Good and Eva Perfume
TBS Shower Gel- three each of Fuzzy Peach, Green Apple & Dewberry. In my defence they were £1.20 each!
The LIB Anti-Aging Box
H&M Red Lip Gloss
Eek, that is quite a haul, isn't it?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I know - the Cheshire Oaks store is an outlet so I suppose it sells overstock. It does usually have some fantastic offers of it's own. Last time I went I was able to buy duos of handcreams and liquid soaps and there was also a GWP on which was a lovely kit.
Enjoy your TSV. I'm not a huge fan of the shea butter hand cream. I'm using a 30ml tube at the moment which is spluttering but I much prefer the lavender one. Am using one of their soaps in the shower at the mo - they are really moisturising as well.
I keep meaning to visit Cheshire Oaks when we visit the inlaws. Probably best that I stay away from temptation anyway heh heh.
I love the shea butter. I havent actually tried the lavender hand cream. I have several lavender shower gels, but havent got round to using them yet.VALM -hope you got some goodies from Cheshire Oaks. I walked past the L'occitane shop last time I was there but chickened out as there were two SAs in there and no customers and I'm hopeless at browsing in such situations.
My idea of heaven! I'd be right in there, quizing them and asking for freebieskiplingmonkey wrote: »Willowbee - thamks for the reply. Like you I thought it was great value and was still pleased with what I received - would have just liked to try the L'Occ cream.
What L'Occ cream was it you were after? I'll have a dig around my stash and see if I can find something for you.0 -
Morning all!
Rosemary - glad to hear you enjoyed the movie! It's still on at my local, and I really want to watch it, so must get there before it finishes!
Mingle I love the word spiffingThank you for using it and bringing a huge smile to my face!
LadyM I hope you're feeling better today.
Hugs to anybody who wants one
As soon as SuiDreams posted, I ordered the duo! Thank you maddiemay and Scrappie for backing the decision - I needed to justify it, and normally I do a great job myself :rotfl: but needed backup this time :rotfl:
The downside to catching up: I want to try the Decleor masks. Admittedly I don't have any, but I don't know if I'd use it regularly. I once had an Elemis facial and they used a rose one I think, which was simply divine. It does cost an arm and a leg though :-/
I've also been thinking about the Clarisonic, QVC have a bundle with the body head (?) for £175 from £193 and on easy pay with 3 installments. The standard one is £170 from them. It sounds like a good deal, but again I know nothing about it and haven't had time to really look into it (stupid VAT returns to prepare). What would you do? The plus kit from LF is £179 or this kit? TIA!
I bought the QVC package, the only difference is at that time it was on 4 easy payments, I am very happy with it, mostly use it once a day, occasionally twice. I use any of my cleansers, some foaming, some creamy, and have yet to start working my way through the humungeous amount of stuff that came with it. I have sensitive skin, but have had no problems using any of the brush heads, no breakouts etc.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
got a few UU and TA from the move
Simple MUR - HG, onto the new one in the stash
LE Tinted moisturiser sachet - WNBA i can never get this to work for me no matter how many times i try it.
Urban Decay Rock Star Lip Gloss - TA WBA, was 3 years old and smelt a bit odd.
Lip Venom mini - TA, HG lip plumper, its the only one that does the job i find. i stockpiled ages ago when it because hard to find and ended up with loads i never used so this one looked a bit odd.
Ole Henriksen lip balm - TA, WNBA Only got in summer but just never got on with it and no point in keeping it.
the Balm MUR - TA and WNBA, this stuff is just posh vaseline. i bet if i used vaseline in the same way i would prob get the same effect!
Yes to carrots hand creme - WBA but TA, repurposed as body lotion but just never seemed to end. i think i got bored of it's longevity and moved on and never went back. it'd been sat there for months.0 -
I have another UU for March - Monu Delicate Face Wash for Dry/Sensitive Skin 5ml WMBA I liked it, but it wasn't amazing, still have not found my HG face Wash / cleanser. Anyway still have loads more in the stash to try.0

A UU for me, last one of the month.
Boots Soltan Face SPF30 - WBA, didn't break me out and wasn't too greasy to put makeup over.
Can anyone recommend any other facial sunscreens? Anyone tried Sunsense Daily Face? It seems to be recommended by dermatologists a lot. I have very dry skin so will most likely need to use an additional moisturiser with any sunscreen I buy, the most important parts are that the sun protection works and that I can apply foundation over it.
I may get some of the Soltan one anyway as it's half price at the moment had has 5* UVA protection too, which a lot of more expensive ones don't!0
