Skyllo - don't get involved...............it's a very dangerous slippery slope, and only a hop, skip and a jump away from OTO's:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Seriously - TSV's are usually fantastic value, esp the fragrance ones. Got a 5 piece AG set last yr for about £45ish - all full size products.

Not had any info on what's in the set, but I'm sure it will be worth a look.

They often contain the skincare range, and that's not my thing - so hopfully it won't be a fragrace TSV or I'm in trouble!!

Thanks! I love AG, it's probably my favourite fragrance ever and I have an almost-full bottle of the EDT that I got for Christmas. My love for Philosophy started when my aunt bought me a set if AG minis when she was in New York years ago.

I'd definitely be tempted by a fragrance set although their "firming" body lotion isn't moisturising enough for me. I sniffed all the other fragrances the last time I was in John Lewis and there was one I really liked but I can't remember the name of it. When I graduate and have a job, Philosophy will definitely be something I treat myself to! (Hellooo Vanilla Birthday Cake shower gel!!)

I probably should not be saying this BUT if you use code FREIM online and buy an immortelle moisturiser and another product you get a free immortelle collection worth £20(till 11th april)they are also doing skin consultations instore (ours is from 2nd to 5th april) and you get free mini treats.....need to book so contact local store
.....you did not hear this from me:rotfl:

I'm one step ahead of you Rosemary ;) Its the same in the Edinburgh shop. I have the postcard lying about the house somewhere and will probably pop in next week :o But I do need to get more moisturiser, so its worth it.
    Naughty Rosemary!!

I had a look online, but I haven't used the products before so I think I might go in store first to get some samples :A

I'm a huge L'Occitane fan. I think their stuff is fab!!

Well if I didn't know better (last nights 'cheapsmells incident) I would have said I was 'cured' today.

Went into town, walked past TBS - did not go in, even tho there was a stash of 'stuff' with a big 50% off sign above it. Then walked past Debs - big beauty promo in the window - resisted again.

At this point I was feeling quite superior and decided to 'test' myself by walking thro Boots - did not even stop to look at anything, head down and marched on.

Wow I feel so proud of myself after my little blip last night :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Yay! Go scrappie! :T

VALM - the only thing about the Cheshire Oaks shop is that I think they dont do the deals? Seem to remember in all the stuff I see coming through 'does not include Cheshire Oaks' but I could be wrong.

Waken at stupid o'clock. Should not drink on a school night.

My TSV arrived on Wednesday. I'm very impressed. The sweet almond hand wash is FABULOUS! So my INs are as follows:

    1 x 500ml Sweet Almond Liquid Soap
1 x 500ml Shea Vanilla Flower Shower Gel
1 x 150ml Limited Edition Shea Butter Hand Cream
1 x 30ml New Shea Cocoa Flower Hand Cream
1 x 15ml New Organic Shea Lip Balm Cocoa Flower

I will be better next month :o;):p

I had such big plans for the last two weeks, re sorting my stash. Hardly done anything with it - spent the time sortingthe garden. Could not 'waste' this good weather. Temp is supposed to drop from Sat, so will try my best to do something on Sun/ Mon or Tues.

In my defense, I also spent a day sorting out paperwork for PPI reclaiming, after one letter to M&S a few months ago resulted in a £700 cheque on the doormat. I have now dug out details of every card I have ever owned - I'm after the lot of 'em!!! May as well try - you never know:D

I know, can't believe the temp is going to drop this weekend of all of them. Snow is even threatened for the North East isn't it? Never mind. Will have to build in a few pub stops on the treasure hunt to keep me warm! x

Good luck with the PPI claims. We're not eligible for any but a few years ago I did claim against missold endowment and won that one. It's well worth the time and effort. Do you use an agency for the claim?

Does anyone know what the Philosophy TSV coming up is? I haven't ordered from QVC before so I'm not sure how good the TSV deals usually are! I love Philosophy but it's way out of my budget. :(

Skyllo have a look at https://www.shoppingtelly.com. They have a forum dedicated to QVC and the TSVs are posted on there a few days earlier. I like looking there cos it gives me a chance to weigh up whether a kit is good value instead of sitting watching and impulse buying. From what I've read on their already I think it's going to include a new Grace fragrance.

If the TSV has skincare in it I won't buy as nothing in their range has suited me.

I know - the Cheshire Oaks store is an outlet so I suppose it sells overstock. It does usually have some fantastic offers of it's own. Last time I went I was able to buy duos of handcreams and liquid soaps and there was also a GWP on which was a lovely kit.

Enjoy your TSV. I'm not a huge fan of the shea butter hand cream. I'm using a 30ml tube at the moment which is spluttering but I much prefer the lavender one. Am using one of their soaps in the shower at the mo - they are really moisturising as well.

Neom Organic Body Wash 50ml - WMBA smelt nice did the job, but mine was a jelly like consistency and not really sure about it.

This maybe my last out of the Month, but it would be nice to get a few more.

I've tried the Philosophy and LE shower gels you mention and I WNBA again either. Agree with you wholeheartedly on both your comments.

Does FE stand for Frizz Ease? I'm gonna be looking for a new straightening serum when mine runs out (can't buy it in the UK). Has anyone tried the Percy & Reed Hair Polish freebie? I have this to open next but I know the reviews of the other products have not been too favourable.

Yes FE is Frizz Ease, love this product as it really keeps my hair straight which is quite a task :) I didn't try any of the Percy & Reed Freebies as I read that they were heavily perfumed so decided to give them a miss.

    Morning all!

Rosemary - glad to hear you enjoyed the movie! It's still on at my local, and I really want to watch it, so must get there before it finishes!

Mingle I love the word spiffing :D Thank you for using it and bringing a huge smile to my face!

LadyM I hope you're feeling better today.

Hugs to anybody who wants one :)

As soon as SuiDreams posted, I ordered the duo! Thank you maddiemay and Scrappie for backing the decision - I needed to justify it, and normally I do a great job myself :rotfl: but needed backup this time :rotfl:

The downside to catching up: I want to try the Decleor masks. Admittedly I don't have any, but I don't know if I'd use it regularly. I once had an Elemis facial and they used a rose one I think, which was simply divine. It does cost an arm and a leg though :-/

I've also been thinking about the Clarisonic, QVC have a bundle with the body head (?) for £175 from £193 and on easy pay with 3 installments. The standard one is £170 from them. It sounds like a good deal, but again I know nothing about it and haven't had time to really look into it (stupid VAT returns to prepare). What would you do? The plus kit from LF is £179 or this kit? TIA!
