awww does my devil cry too?!

Just had massive falling out with BF who told me he's not sorry he cant take me out to do what I want to do for my birthday, he's apologised alread (once I add!) so I should be over it!!

As a consolation prize though he did say he could take me out for dinner....
But he refuses to feel guilty because, as he worded it, 'you know I plan a big night out with the boys every St Patricks Day'!
He then decided to hang up on me.

So a very Happy Birthday to me

    Happy Birthday CAFCgirl.

What a super thread you started. i've just joined but I followed this one for a while. It made me think about the "stuff" I have at home; books, CD's, records, tolietries and household bits and pieces. The amount of stuff I have i don't think I really need to buy anything else other than the essentials.

My weakness is books and although i do like to buy , we have a perfectly good public library system where I am and I suppose i only buy becasue the particular book is new out. i could easily wait a while if I was patient.

I have had a couple of NSD's this week and only bought food for lunch once even though I decided I could put something up at home to bring into work.
I run my own shop so my biggest weakness is my sweets counter but I'm working on it!!

I did a bit of a clear out on ebay and raised a bit to offset my debts and to fund a weekend away which was nice rather than buying something. i also sold a weights bench which was an impulse buy some years ago (needless to say not used more than twice!!!) and the tenner i received for it wnet to Comic Relief. That made me feel quite good about myself

    Excellent stuff.

Love the donation to Comic Relief!
    It all helps!

Glad to hear you've been inspired by us girlies (as we all seem to be) and raised a fair amount of dosh (weekend away eh?!)

    Keep up the good work!

    Happy Birthday CAFCGirl

Good news about your deposit - I love it when a plan comes together ;)

Another no spend for me either - have made my mum a box full of hugs and kisses for Mother's Day (idea from another thread - so thanx for whoever posted that one :T ) DD made my mum a card so it'll only cost me the postage, and as I already have stamps, that will be nowt!!! So all in all a grand day in Sue's little humble abode :rotfl:

Keep up the good work girlies - boy, do we have some stamina or what :A
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:
