    No Spender for my too!

    Well actually..............................
Not only was it a no spender but it prooved to be a MASSIVE EARNER!

Oh yes folks you guessed it, I got my deposit back!!!
All £825 of it!!! Even though only £412.50 of it was mine!(Long story, other half is previous flatmates share that she left to buy herself out of tenancy early!)

So I got all of it, even though technically I owed landlord £150 (had a month of half rent!) and I burnt a hole in the carpet with an iron!!!! (Dont ask!)

    So feeling pretty super marvellous!!!
My boss even came to my shop today and bought me a birthday cake...
    How lovely!!

Feeling much better now I've got the deposit back because it means I can pay some stuff off and I'm not even slightly tempted to buy a new birthday outfit...........

    I'm not honestly..............

    I promise............:o

    Nope, not even shoes...................

    OK.... maybe shoes

Wow well done everyone, I am so impressed with you lot! poohbear - well done on your homemade gifts, I'm sure she'll love them and you're teaching the kids good moneysaving attitudes.

Elmer that is fantastic saving so much, well done!

And CAFCgirl - what a brilliant birthday present! Go and pay your debts off first thing in the morning before you get waylaid by a shoeshop. I hope the 'extra' £412 makes you feel better about your ratfink flatmate.

I had a no-spender today. I spent my long lunch break in the British Museum. And what a wonderful place it is. I recommend it highly to anyone wanting a free and interesting outing.
