Anyone get any decently priced washing machine recommendations?Ta.
My Hot*point packed in at the end of 2010 and couldn't afford another "big brand" one so I ended up with a Be*ko - and I can honestly say it's been the best wm I've ever had:j (in fact DM replaced her HP with a Be*ko too not long afterwards!).
The functionality on them is brilliant & just as good as ones many £000s more - mine has a quick wash which you can use between 30 and 90 deg (50 mins for 40 deg & 1 hour for 60 deg) which I use mos to the time, wools, hand wash etc etc and it's got a 24 hour time delay :j and the 7kg size makes a big difference (I probably save 1 wash a week due to this)
Sorry.... I love my Be*ko:o
This is mine http://www.appliancesonline.co.uk/product/WMB71442W-Beko-Washing-Machine-White-23533.aspx
I got it for £200 when it had £100 off at Ar*gos (currently £319but £244 in the link above).
There are offers other Be*ko's at Ar*gos so you may see something you like http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Browse/ID72/14418685/c_1/1|category_root|Kitchen+and+laundry|14418476/c_2/2|14418476|Washing+machines|14418685/r_001/4|Brands|Beko|1.htm HTHGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Ohhhhhh forgot to say No 9 today - today is supposed to be my "allowed" spendy day of the week but had a thumping headache so came straight home (thankfully it's now gone after a lie down in a dark room:)) but not going out again as it's bloomin' freezing outside (think Feb & March have been a bit back to front so far!).
So .... it will have to be a spendy day tomorrow instead:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Good evening all, and it seems our luvverly thread is Martin's DFW thread of the week in this week's MSE email, so we've made the big time! Lights! Cameras! Music! Troupe of can-can dancing chickens stand by...but mind Igor with his chef's knife.......he's been staying up watching Masterchef so now all the meals come with faffy bits and splatters of luminescent sauce.....watch out folks for the next NSD outing, I would bring sarnies if I were you.
And on an NSD note:
Today makes NSD number 7!!!!!
De Nargle is in de groove.......One life - your life - live it!0 -
Re deceased puddy tats.....a couple of local ginger cats have been found dead near us in the past couple of weeks. So, as our cat is very ginger (in more ways than one as he's been neutered!) and very, very much loved, he has been getting loads of attention chez Nargle. I agree if anything happened to a cat of mine I would rather have the body and do a proper funeral than always be looking out for a missing cat that never comes home. Unfortunately when we take on pets we open ourselves up to the possibilty of sad feelings as well as happy ones. At least we can pride ourselves on giving an animal a warm safe home and a comfortable life for the time they are with us.One life - your life - live it!0

Maybe ... but maybe not - cats are very fickle and will go wherever they fancy. One of my BFFs cats moved in to the flat downstairs (where she's an "only" rather than being one of a multitude) and has been there for around 3 years now ..... I know someone else whose cat went missing and they *found* her around a year later, she'd moved in to another house down the street ..... much better to think of it that way hun xxGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
