chris81418 - well done for NSD 10 :j:j:j thanks for the drain tip, that will come in very handy :)

Thanks LMH! :j I like that drain tip, as not only does it help with keeping them clear, it also means we reduce the chemicals going into our water system. :money: Oh, before I forget, NSD number 11 caught yesterday! :j Unfortunately, I've already spent to day and I may have to spend tomorrow too! :(

Rising - do you have a freezer? I quite often buy a pack of rolls and then wrap them individually in foil to take out as I need for the next day. So long as they are well wrapped and you don't leave them in there for months they are fine defrosted.

Thanks Kerri .... unfortunately :o I loathe bread/rolls that have been frozen :o - there are some in there for an absolute emergency ... but they usually end up being taken out after about a year and given to the birds:rotfl:

Evening all - NSD #7 in the bag :j won't be one tomorrow as I need to get brows done and a few other bits.

Had a rather sad start to my day, was driving to work and saw a poor pud at the roadside on the verge (same place as one last year) - turned round to collect the poor thing and take it to the vet so at least they could hopefully trace it's owners. She had a wee collar on but no tag but was hopefully chipped. Very sad as had nasty head injuries, and without being too graphic was still floppy so hadn't happened long before I got there :( All I could think was some poor soul had just let their cat out after brekkie and pud won't be coming home again (thought made worse by the fact I'd done the same thing with mine). Anyway, hopefully the vet will trace them and at least they'll know someone cared enough to pick her up and take her somewhere, not leave her on the verge. (I actually keep a towel in the car for such eventualities). Making a big fuss of my wee furr ball tonight but can't get the image of the one from this morning out of my head atm :(
