Wednesday and yesterday were NSDs 3 and NSD 4 spent a small amount yesterday but was out of my bag for drinks, which I shall explain... (long rant coming up, feel free to ignore!)
So it was my long awaited date yesterday. And it was bloody atrocious. Again I was last minute (this happened similar last week with another guy) and I ended up going in the pub on my own. He picked it, and it was horrible, 5 old men and a couple scruffy students in. Felt so uncomfortable. Bought my own drink and sat and waited. I was late but he got there 15 minutes late. Considering he lives round the corner and I drove 20 miles, I don't think that's acceptable!
Was ok to talk to, but not really interested in me, was just moaning about work etc. Bought himself a drink. I needed another drink a while later, he didn't offer to buy so I bought myself another (and offered one to him)!
He walked off in the middle of me talking just saying "I'll be a minute". When I went to leave I thought maybe he would walk me to my car - area was rough and I had already said I was scared walking round cos the road I parked on was dark. I stood up and said "Are you staying here for a bit?" And he said "Yeh, gonna see who's around, see ya later" whilst texting on his phone, and just turned around and left me!!!
I was seething!! No "thanks for coming" "nice to meet you" "thanks for driving 40 miles" or anything! No text message off him since, which I'm glad of cos he was a horrible person, nothing like his messages which had been so nice!
Anyway rant over!!!!
Onwards and upwards, someone else on Saturday - and this time we're meeting halfway between our houses

It's lovely to be given all of these free bits isn't it?! I managed to [STRIKE]kick things hard[/STRIKE] carefuuly rearrange the garage to accomodate. Rather sadly though I used the Flash spray and was thrilled with it's effects in the kitchen.:o
Cannot belive that chap :eek:what an absolute 'st' with hi in the middle. At least you don't have to wonder why he is single and I think you had a very lucky escape! Ewwwww!wannabee_in_credit wrote: »I'm here, but I've had a terrible week with spending (almost all stress related), so no more nsd's to report as yet. Am really hoping to catch one today though, so fingers crossed.
Yep I can empathise with this as last week was AWFUL for me. Tuesday which is normally an NSD, I succumbed to the coffee shop and bought my long suffering OH one for having to listen to my presentation :rotfl:Wednesday also normally an NSD was the day of my presentation and we went for lunch afterwards, we went to Ald* for supplies on Thursday and I went on a rare night out on another NSD day (Friday ). Need to get a grip next week! Otherwise we will not be hitting the target!rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »Ohhhhhh
trying to get into a routine of NSD on Mon/Tues, spend on Weds - as it's my 1/2 day and it lets me get rolls etc to last until the end of the week (why can't these be dated long enough to last the whole week when I go to the sm?) - and more NSD on Thurs/Fri.
If it works this month, will be trying to increase my target come April:eek:
Really glad that everthing went well on Friday Rising, it is always a relief to get these things out of the way. Is there a truce on the felins war yet or are you still having to keep them apart?
Re rolls - do you mean bread rolls? Have you considered making them instead, then you can have those days as an NSD because the ingredients are in the food shop! Rolls are easier than bread somehow too! Or sometimes microwave the bread can give it a new lease of life.
Anyways, yesterday was an NSD as we had my family over for dinner. OH was his usual brilliant self in the kitchena nd produced a mammouth banofee pie with the best part of 3lbs of banana's that we got from As*a for 9p! I made a banana flapjack with the rest which, as I have not got OH's talent for cooking, is a bit dry and does not really taste of banana but hey ho it's good for you right?
So I have 8/14 now....fingers crossed for a better week. I hope you are all OK.
