Morning all, me up early (for me) on a Sunday. Yesterday was spendy as expected, hair do a few bits at Mr A (incl 3 bottles of red for £10 - as I'm going to be helping Red out on the lent challenge :D) and a very poor day for wombling :( Also had to get some sink unblocker, our kitchen sink had been making some strange gurgling sounds, as had the sink in the downstairs loo (which is on the other side of the house so v.odd). Stuff was nearly £4 in Mr A  so headed back into town and got a big bottle from 99p shop instead....touch wood, seems to have done the trick, kitchen sink deff clearing better and no gurgles so far.

Not planning on leaving the house today, going to head out and tidy the garden and give the lawn it's first mow of the year.

Rising - meant to say, not suprised you felt all wrung out, I expect your adrenalin levels were sky high with all the emotion. Hope you're feeling better today xx

btw, anyone heard from Jinty yet? Not like her to be offline for so long - hope everything is ok.

    Good Morning folks:j,

I'm off out today for lunch:D, so unless Mrs Red pays for lunch, it'll be a spendy for me, but worth it, as we have seen very little of each other lately.

Kerri, I normally don't approve of wine at 3 for £10, however, Mr A does have some interesting ones available at times and Red from Chile and Australia can be quite drinkable:). I'd recommend anything from Chile they have, as it's normally produced from a vineyard with the initials LFE (not sure if I mention his name it'll be seen as advertising), but you can pm me if you are not sure of the name. I'm glad you're having the wine for me:T, although, I'd be lying if I said I'd eaten your quota of chocolate, but will have chocolate dessert at lunch.

I hope everyone is well and having a nice weekend.

    Red:)

Thanks Kerri .... was still feeling a bit washed out when I got up :( however it's a beautiful day (but still very windy) so forced myself to get dressed and go out.

I'm just back from a lovely walk on the beach:) (I might be biased but I'm very lucky to be in a very beautiful part of the world and have an abundance of wonderful beaches to choose from:T).

Made a quick pit stop at Mr A on the way home for a few essentials and also got the very aptly named liquid gold  it's gone up again:mad:. Thinking I may fill the car weekly as forking out for a full tank in one go nearly breaks my heart:o

I've just given the grass it's first cut (on the highest setting) but it does look so much better .... and I now feel great:D

Claiming NSD 8 (I think, losing track!) today.

Am about to venture out in to the wide world with my purse which sometimes results in impulse buys. So if I declare my NSD now I absolutely CAN NOT SPEND!

Was planning on going to a car boot this morning but convinced myself to take the dog for a nice free walk instead, very pleased with myself :D

    Have a lovely Sunday everybody!!
  • Hi all NSD 6 today. Went shopping yesterday got some essentials and the frame for my sisters birthday present. Got zumba tomorrow but i have put the money in the pot for this already so hoping it will count as an NSD tomorrow. DD2 is better so she will be back at nursery and i have to face the music at work (oh well mothers guilt).

    NSD no. 2 please.

May not have an NSD tomorrow but will have a good day. I took a Laura Ashley dress into a dress agency a few weeks ago and they sold it on Wednesday which means I could buy an £18 work dress from Tesco for £5.50. I'll go and collect the money tomorrow.

Nice dress too so someone has got a bargain.

Just quickly skimmed through the past couple of days' posts....

Jaffacake - they say you have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince, well it sounds like you met King Kermit the other night. You are so, so lucky to get away from that one.

NSD-wise, my plans for making today a NSD were well and truly scuppered.
    Why?

OH was too chicken to go out and buy haemorrhoid cream

    And on that bum note....
