  • Thanks OP  just ordered free delivery and used my £15 free vouchers from Which subscription offer so £144.99:j

Weird thing had no intention of purchasing a hoover this morning but been abit unhappy with my dyson for a while now just wonder if DH will notice hope not:D
  • Thanks OP. Have decided to go for it as well, also using 'Which' vouchers.

It is a lot of money for us, but I am sick of our current piece of useless engineering which only works via the hose and not the base plate.

After 3 rubbish, and not particularly cheap, purchases over the last 2 years, I am really hoping that this time I can trust all the positive reviews, and end up with a vacuum cleaner that actually works. Fingers crossed.

Hope you all find it fab and get mnay years of hoovering out of it:)

I know mines a cylinder but mines only ever needed bags and filters changing. Oh, and the first time I used it on what I thought were clean carpets the filter was black:eek:

Brilliant find OP. I picked mine up yesterday and am extremely pleased with it - much better than my beat up old Dyson. Many thanks.

Is this the S7210 model? If so, it seems to be back up to £270. Shame as we need a new hoover....

Check out Currys as they have the cat and dog for £149.99 and another one at £99.99. Both cylinders.

Some good prices there. Do all Miele vacuums have bags? We can empty our current bagless vacuum two or three times when vacuuming our house because of the dog hair, which makes us think it would cost us a fortune in bags....

I am pretty sure all Miele cleaners have bags. I have to say that the capacity is huge though. We used to empty our dyson (and then vax bagless) a couple of times a week as we a toddler and a messy 6 year old who excel in their ability to produce crumbs. I have only had mine for 3 weeks and the bag is nowhere near ready for emptying yet so cannot comment how much "mileage" there is in a bag.

Really powerful, effective, well built peace of kit though and it blows my old dyson and vax out of the water. Received the free 10 year guarantee from Miele in the post last week too. Obviously they must be confident that their stuff is built to last!
