PPI Reclaiming Discussion Part 5
Comments

Hi,
I have started to follow the steps for reclaiming the PPI on a loan I took out with RBS.
Last month I received a response to my request for a copy of my loan agreement. The letter stated that they had misfiled my records and have insufficient detail to recreate the agreement. But I should continue to pay the full outstanding balance of £4,543 and if not the continuing default will be reported to the Credit Refererence Agencies.
I have now found my copy of the original loan agreement and see that the PPI was £2,709.60 on my £11,000 borrowed.
What should I do next?
Regards

Well complaint about 2 loans 1 in '02 and one in '07 initially went in to lloyds tsb on 1st June and just had a phone call from them 5 weeks later basically asking why I felt I had put the complaint in.
It caught me a bit off guard to be honest but I just explained that I dont recall the PPI being explained to me on either loan and that if it had I wouldnt have taken it asI had good work benefits that covered me full pay for 6 months etc and that I had no information provided to me about PPI. She seemed too be pushing me for more reasons so I feel like what i said wasnt enough. Then she asked me for the loan details, I explained that I didnt have them to hand at the moment but that I had already provided all the loan numbers etc. So heres to fingers crossed but Im not getting my hopes up.0 -

What is the position with a c/c which you applied for via a leaflet through the post and you ticked yes for PPI and never had a conversation with any salesperson (no suitability issues).
You may now regret the purchase, but that just makes it mis-bought.
Sorry.0 -
I am about to in a claim for mis-sold ppi on a virgin credit card (mnba) the card was taken out early 2005 on line, I have read a lot that there was a optin box (for ppi) which was preticked on the online application form would this be classified as misold or mispurchased either way would I have a claim0

I put in my claim to Safestyle Windows and had a reply that the letter was received on 30th April and the matter was being looked at but have heard nothing since. Is there a time limit that they should reply by? Thanks.0

I succesfully managed to get my PPI claim back from Lloyds £3500 which was great,.
But i am really struggling with my wifes we have very little of orignal paperwork for my wifes claim and when we phoned lloyds they said they had no record of loan and ppi which i know is not true can someone please help and advice of which way to go first to start the ball rolling, as mine was easy having the original PPI agreement meant i had all the ref numbers i needed to claim but we have lost all are paper work from my wifes loan was taking out over 10 years but due to only paying back a small amount each month loan is still live.
thanks for any help in this
