Sorry to hear about everyone who is loosing out due to decreased tax credits. I dont have them (and don't really understand them) but it must be pretty rubbish to suddenly find yourself worse off.

I have £1.50 to add from a Tesco voucher I used. But I'm actually going backwards as I've spent about £120 on frivolous items this week so a massive fail...

Evening everyone - ITS FRIDAY!!! :D:D:D

Sorry for over smiley use there, but it has been a long week and I am glad it is the weekend.

Adding £3 money saved on lunch to work today. Have an ebay sale but will add profit tomorrow.

Keeping it crossed for those waiting for tax credit news. The cost of child care here makes my blood boil. My youngest starts school in Sept so I will finally be done with nursery fee's after nearly 7 years of paying them. When I first returned to work (part time) I was practically working for free - well, I earnt about £150 a month but it was money we could not afford to loose. Due to the nature of my job it does not pay to have a long career break either as you de-skill. I had a friend who moved back to Finland (she was a researcher in tropical medicine) as could not afford to stay here. Full time nursery care there is around £220 for the whole month.

Anyhow, hubby just returned home with a curry and is yelling at me about me sitting here typing and not getting plates etc etc. Naughty Step for BC!!!!!! :p

Have a good night folks.

    Evening all.
Hoping that none of you lose your tax credits. Its a worring time for you all ((((hugs))))
I have just done about 5 surveys. Its so annoying when they say will take 20 mins and they end up taking much longer. Did my Spud shillingsearlier but nowhere near payout yet.
Does anyone know if I can do M*ains for my OH he has his own laptop but obviously the same ISP.
    Have a great weekend.

  • Well i've spent the evening catching up on uni work (i study with the ou) and having a telephone tutorial. The whole time i was on the phone having a tutorial i was watching videos on different sites to get points... Good job i can multi task! ;)

I think i'm finally all caught up. Roll on July when i have 2 months off from studying! Not sure how i fit it all in sometimes. A hubby, 3 kids, a house to run, working AND studying! Along with trying to raise an extra £10 a day?? No wonder i'm depressed! Lol.

Anyway... I am going backwards and spending £10 on a takeway this evening, because i bloody deserve it! Rant over.... Back tomorrow full of regrets! Cheerio! :D

I don't really understand the tax credit thing either but it must be awful waiting for a letter - how come that girl sitting on her jacksy all day is getting so much and not getting it reduced?? Something wrong with that when others work really hard for each penny!! Heart goes out to you guys :heart::heart:

I have another few squiddles in today (now i have got over my moan and checked :o) £10 in from that hush money from fab ;) an ebay sale of £4.50 profit and when i get my amazon money in from book i posted today will add that on too :D heard from one ebay buyer who says she will pay on tues so hopefully she will!

Am thinking about holding a sale in the house for some of the stuff i have to get rid of - anyone done anything like that?? not sure if it would work or not!! what do you all think??

Oh forgot to say thats me up to £31.40 now :)
