MSE News: Banks wrongly reject PPI complaints, despite admitting mis-selling

true colours is that you are not interested in facts or learning, you have adopted a position, based on the vested interest you represent, and nothings going to change that
to hear you not in favour of measures the banks would take that would reduce cost of representation to people says it all 1) you dont really care about people 2) hold on a minute my suggestion wouldnt involve cmc bashing so cannot be agreed with even though cmcs charge less and customers keep more and 3) whatever you do you couldnt possibly suggest the bank has practices which increase costs to customers,
and all we get is flippant answers on something you guys supposed to care a lot about, know a lot about and advise others
JOKE!0 -
What vested interest do I represent?0

someone in a position where if banks made certain changes, the costs to the consumer could be reduced dramatically, so your position neither represents the consumer, or someone who feels it is correct that regulated representation should be available for those who want it . I wont play the guessing game and be able to say specifically what industry you are in, but obviously you are driven through your pocket and not by the facts or consideration of the above 2 sections of the general public I have advised you interests are not aligned with0

I'm someone in a position to know that consumers should be refunded and are being refunded by the banks without incurring any costs at all. I'm driven by my own experience of reclaiming mis-sold PPI for free since 2009 using the information and advice available on this forum and others and occasionally the services of the completely free FOS. I'm also driven by the concept of giving back.0

agree to all the above, and also agree that those who want representation should have that option available to them, and that for those that do the banks should do the simple things to keep the cost down to the consumer0 -

They could refuse to deal with CMCs - That would help keep costs down.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

Received a letter today basically saying sorry about the PPI sold on your loan, but we can't process your claim without you providing original documents as our system isn't showing the PPI details. I no longer have these documents, but have provided them with the account number, from which they have admitted that there was PPI attached to the loan, so surely they have to act upon my claim. Any advice?0
