At a guess he means actually having the audacity to check whether the allegations are true or not.
Call me a cynic if you like but even if the banks did I cannot see him passing any saving on to the consumer.0 -

by the banks co-operating with the cmc's i believe cost saving could be passed onto consumer by 25-33%, do you think this would be a good thing and something the banks/mse/which should explore?0 -

You claim that banks are not co-operating now and that is why your services are needed. Leaving aside, for the moment, the fact that I vehemently disagree with you, if it were true then it would follow that if they did what you want and rolled over every time then the logical route forward would be to simply write and ask without using you, reducing the cost to the consumer by 100%.
That would leave us both out of a job but I have other strings to my bow and summer is coming.0 -
i believe there are straight forward practices the banks could adopt that could reduce the cost to the customer by 25-33% conservatively - yes or no in favour?0

So you are suggesting that instead of charging, perhaps £2,000 to put a stamp on an envelope and chuck it in a post box you would only charge £1,500?
Wow! I did that for one of my clients this evening. I will charge 50p for the stamp but will not bother charging for the walk down to the post box (about half a mile each way) because I enjoyed the stroll.0 -

If the banks aren't co-operating with the CMCs then what's the point in using them at all. Perhaps that's something the CMCs should explore.0 -
i guess its a clear sign when those on the other side of the debate cant answer a straight question with a straight answer
and i guess its a sad state of affairs but you gives you an indication into the mind of these people when they wouldnt support simple changes the banks could make in processing their claims that could lead to those clients who chose to take representation being able to for considerably cheaper.
and to keep repeating making a claim is putting a stamp on an envelope, it is not as straight forward as that , you are mis-representing the process, and if it were so simple there would not be 13,000 threads on such a simple process
so you have demonstrated you have the inability to discuss this open and honestly with an open mind and your vested interest have led you to a fixed position based on dogma and vitriol where you have the lost the ability to be reasoned and balanced. your position is leading you to how you see the evidence, rather than the evidence leading to your opinion. There is no point debating or discussing this with you any further, its a waste of breath, lets just hope you dont influence too many in a negative way with your warped and prejudiced and uninformed opinions0 -

black and white thinking, from one extreme to another, i guess this is your way of avoiding the question, sad really but at least you guys showing true colours , many comments above also apply to you0 -
What do you think misschicken's "true colours" are?ppidisgrace wrote: »black and white thinking, from one extreme to another, i guess this is your way of avoiding the question, sad really but at least you guys showing true colours , many comments above also apply to you0 -
