Because the Le Creuset "offers" had "sold out" before someone noticed the Chasseur ones and posted the details.

I ordered the Chasseur Cast Iron 30cm Serving Casserole Matt Black, and the Chasseur Oval Cast Iron Casserole Black 31cm as backups in case the Le Creuset items don't come through. The 30cm is showing a delivery estimate of 27th April - 1st of May so I won't hold my breath on that one but the 31cm is showing 28 Feb 2007 - 2 Mar 2007 So maybe I will get something.

I afraid to say I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of us end up in a week or two receiving the classic Amazon "We are sorry to inform you that we have been unable to obtain the following item:" email. We will wait and see.

It originally started with some Le Creuset Cast Iron 'asharon' found in Amazon. Then Amazon corrected their prices so there was no more bargains to grab and this thread moved here. And then 'point3' found more Chasseur Cast Iron bargains and continued the thread.

you can't do it yourself, you need to get a Board Guide to do it.

Sorry peeps! Yes, this is in the "Gone" section because it was originally a Le Creuset thread. Looks like the Chasseur bargains have all gone too, but no-one's picked off the LaFont enamelled cast-ironware bargains yet...
