All of the above are at a quarter of the normal price. I think someone at amazon applied th 50% off these items, and then another eager employee must have applied another 50% on the 50%, resulting to a whopping 75%.

So go on people, grab a bargain while it lasts and lets hope that amazon will honour the deal

Be careful with some of the Amazon stuff guys - the 31cm rectangular dish (£15.97) which is described as "Stoneware" actually shows a photo of the Cast Iron range (RRP £60). There are a number of items where this seems to be the case - the photo implies it is cast iron and therefore seemingly an amazing bargain, but the item is actually stoneware and about the correct RRP.

That's true biglugs. In actual fact this problem with the stoneware/cast iron images has been the case for the last 9 months wit amazon. I nearly did this mistake back then. I wrote to them telling them of their mistake, but i guess they are still working on it.

For the record, I have triple checked the descriptions in amazon versus the images and all of the above items are cast iron in both the description and the corresponding image.

The only exception is (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...A3P5ROKL5A1OLE), which is stoneware and is advertised as such on Amazon.

Agreed - I was only pointing out that people should be careful not to fall into the mistake I made - I looked at the photo, thought "BARGAIN!!!!" and placed my orders immediately to be sure I got them. But when I went back and double checked it became clear that the description says stoneware when the photo is a cast iron dish, which is a completely different beast, so I cancelled that order.
I ordered lots of the cast iron dishes though - never too early for Xmas shopping!!

Do you reckon that they will go through with the salethough. I am a Le Creuset geek and I know more or less what the prices should be. All of the above are way to cheap and there is no way amazon could get them for so little & make a profit. I fear I may get an email in a few hours, saying that they were misriced & that they won't deliver the goods.

Saying that I bought a couple more for prezzies.:j

By the way if you are interested in Le Creuset you may pay a visit in their factory in France. It is in Fresnoy-le-Grand (or something like that. It's about 1 hour 45 minutes drive from Calais and it's worth it if you combine it with some booze/tobacco etc. shopping from Calais. I stopped there on my way to Paris and bought half my kitchen pans there and then. They had a sale at the time, on the already reduced prices, and I got myself stuff at 30%-40% of the UK RRP prices. It was worth a while.
