Hi - just posted on the codes board - I've just used a referral code and managed to place an order for the loo rolls (& creme eggs of course that's what swayed it for me ;)) but they've not issued me with a referrers code, so it looks like they've brought forward the referral offer date to the 29th Feb (hope this makes sense!!). Although there's plenty of codes on there left to use by the looks of it (and you'd be benefitting others from the use of these codes - shame I didn't get one:)) But maybe it's expired??
Toilet rolls didn't say OOS on my basket - I hope they arrive - although the need's not urgent

Meant to say thanks cazzap06 for posting this on the grabbit board - I'd wouldn't have spotted it on the codes board :)

I'm wondering what they do at flats though... I live on a busy ish road, it might be stolen if I don't know when it's coming and just left outside the communal door on the road! Guess I will find out in the morning... I don't even know what times they deliver between to know what time to get up.

This is my only gripe with this company , but saying that , years ago where DID the milkman leave your milk / groceries every morning , simply on everyones doorstep BUT times have changed and we order MORE grocery / household items now and less milk so it is a more bulky delivery ( AND people / neighbourhoods are more dodgy and less honest now unfortunately )

I had mine delivered first time in a green box & the second time ( I JUST REMEMBERED ) they DID ring my doorbell as they were running REALLY late with loads of Christmas orders which were actually delivered in a plain white VAN , not a milk float!

They seem to have disappeared from the site hours ago ( the toilet rolls! ) do you have a link to them please? Thanks :D

Hmmmmmmm if you didn't get a code then they must have ended the referral scheme early , sorry everyone! :(:(

I'm not even sure if the referral codes work any more? :(

Yep, but we had a garden growing up, safe neighbourhood, trustworthy people around and only used to get a couple of pints delivered - think my 18 toilet rolls for starters will be a bit bulkier lol.

Was the green box free? I imagined it would be in branded carrier bags or not??

I'd best get to bed soon in case it comes early  I did put a note on the delivery column asking if they could buzz my flat, I think for a first order it would be useful if they did that, not so bad in future if you know roughly when to expect them. I've never seen a M&M milkfloat in my road ever.

They did disappear from the site, but I just used the link you gave in your first post and as I was logged in to my account, added them to my basket - they went in there no problem :)

I created my account using a referral code at around 10.30pm - so maybe codes will work up to 29th, but no new codes will be issued??
  • ***ANYONE WORRIED ABOUT WHERE THEY ARE GOING TO LEAVE YOUR DELIVERY ETC - You can leave special instructions for the milkman by logging into your account , go to 'my account' then 'personal details' and there is a box at the bottom to leave delivery instructions***

AHA But I'd be worried now they are not on the site that they are all actually OOS which would not be a surprise of course!! :o

I THINK I remember the items being left in a green box? It was a good while ago though , so maybe they don't do that anymore??

That is exactly what I did - I've asked them to ring my door bell even if its early , not sure if they will though , but it would be nice to know the approximate time but should imagine they are busy with lots of orders to deliver on this occasion so there might be hold ups like there was at Christmas ( Their Christmas biscuits etc were on offer at really good prices!! )
  • hey guys i joined with a refer a friend code and got £10 off then i placed a second order with the free milk code and got a SECOND £10 off as well as get free creme eggs so im a very happy bunny.

if you need to know the codes check the codes board or look for other posts by me for ease :p

***PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT DOING THIS!!!*** .... I do know someone who tried it ( and NO - It wasn't me! lol ) and YES the code worked and the discount was applied to the basket at the TIME but they were charged FULL PRICE for the second order later on as BOTH codes state it is FOR NEW MILK&MORE CUSTOMERS ONLY!!!***

Please do not be surprised if you are later charged for the 2nd order and that applies to anyone else who made multiple / more than one order

If you want to take the risk then don't kick up a fuss when they charge you! ;)

I do not agree with doing what you have suggested and I do NOT recommend it as I feel it is crossing the line , being greedy and trying to rip the company off as yes every new customer is entitled to £10 off their FIRST order with this offer so why can't we just all be pleased with that?? :D
