Also, obviously, only buy what you actually need and will eat. Never go shopping on a full tummy, and always write a list.

Think you got that the wrong way round!:D

Did my first 'weekly' shop in Ald! yesterday and had to fight my way round all the trollies - it was heaving in there! It amazed me how quick you get through the checkouts though - if there'd been a similar queue in our local Mr T I'd have been there ages.

I also went to Mr T for some of their BOGOF's today, including butter, peppers, cheese, and half price beans. Altogether spent £37.99 this week so pretty good for me - need to add this to my signature.

Tea tonight was gammon, which OH had cooked in the slow cooker (with cola), with roast pots, veg and cheese sauce - soooo nice! Some leftovers for sandwiches tomorrow too. :)

Oh yeah! Derrrrrr..... Always go on a FULL tummy!!!! You can tell why I'm rubbish at this challenge sometimes!!
I had a look too .. I'm sure they used to show them:(

For me, they don't show them if they're about to change. Unfortunately, I'd already been in and seen what they were before the site would show me! Not v helpful for planning.

Evening all, just a small spend today of £1.90 in Waitflower. It's the first time I've been in there and it will be the last. They are far too dear for me and I prefer the food and prices from Ald!.

Welcome to our newbies, you're in the right place to save. :D

Not sure about the super six is in Ald1 but lid1 have a great offer on Thursday, cellophane wrap at 99p per roll. Im thinking I may get some mothers day plants and wrap them in this.
