Did my first 'weekly' shop in Ald! yesterday and had to fight my way round all the trollies - it was heaving in there! It amazed me how quick you get through the checkouts though - if there'd been a similar queue in our local Mr T I'd have been there ages.
I also went to Mr T for some of their BOGOF's today, including butter, peppers, cheese, and half price beans. Altogether spent £37.99 this week so pretty good for me - need to add this to my signature.
Tea tonight was gammon, which OH had cooked in the slow cooker (with cola), with roast pots, veg and cheese sauce - soooo nice! Some leftovers for sandwiches tomorrow too.0 -

For me, they don't show them if they're about to change. Unfortunately, I'd already been in and seen what they were before the site would show me! Evening all, just a small spend today of £1.90 in Waitflower. It's the first time I've been in there and it will be the last. They are far too dear for me and I prefer the food and prices from Ald!.
Welcome to our newbies, you're in the right place to save.
