My frog this week, and possibly for a lot longer, is patching several pairs of trousers. I keep my mending in the ironing basket so I see it regularly, but somehow it just stays there.

    List of extras:

    1. Sort and file recipes, currently in pile on kitchen floor
    2. Put coat hooks back up in hall
    3. Research courses/career options for son
    4. More eBay
    5. Frog
    6. Renew EHIC cards
:)Motto for 2013: GET MORE DONE! AGAIN
Do an hour a day on my BOOK! Also, lose weight. And be nicer
  • Sunday Don't know what got into me today, and although it doesn't look much, I've had (for me) a v. productive day - lots of recycling put ready to go out, washing which is usually a Monday job done today (primarily because I've got a hygieneist's appointment tomorrow morning), clean clothes from last week's wash put away, paperwork FARed (Filed, Actioned or Recycled - to be continued), kitchen floor swept, fridge cleaned and food put back in.

    Monday Update

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
Sweep and mop the floor - only mopping to do (tomorrow)
Clear and wipe table - haven't got table in kitchen, but have done ones in sitting room where I eat my meals
    Level Two
Clear and wipe the worksurfaces - started - to be continued tomorrow
Clean out the fridge (done on Sunday) and meal plan what needs using up first (tomorrow)
    Level Three
Wipe cupboard fronts, kickboards, drawers, etc (tomorrow)
Clean a small appliance thoroughly (tomorrow)
Clean filters on WM, TD, etc - need some advice on this - not sure where to begin as I've never done it before - am dreading what I might find!
    Extras
    HHI or HHE (tomorrow)
Clean out any pets or wash bedding - haven't got any pets
Clear a hotspot - anyplace that has paperwork on or in it

Lots of the tomorrows are because I didn't wake up until just after 8.00 am this morning (usually it's between 5 and 7) and what with having to leave at about 9.45 to get to the dentists, I was well and truly thrown this am!

Back at about 12.30 pm and made a start on the paperwork bonfire (there's too much of it to be called a hotspot) and am proud to announce that more than half of it got sorted before FARing (see above). Crosses fingers that whatever has kept me going yesterday and today will be there tomorrow.

    Evening all

    DS2 collected
    Tea made
    Recycling out
    Cat's dishes/mat/floor around mat cleaned
WM on, TD on (morning and night)
    DW emptied and re-loaded

and not much else. It's about time I get cross with myself for having so little GUAG. :( DS1 has been so moody that I've had second thoughts about talking to him. Try again tomorrow.

I think that babes can only catch Bronchiolitis once. Hope she feels better soon x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    RIP Neveah's cat :(

Had some sad news about a family member's relationship break up - there is a pre school child involved - hope we are allowed to see her still :( Will knock my sister (child's grandmother) and my mum for six - not sure if they know yet - what with my sister dying recently, then an aunt - now this. Mustn't dwell on it!

Consequently didn't get as much done last night as I'd hoped - and didn't sleep that well either! 3 nights on the trot, previous 2 nights the dogs took it in turns to wake us up!

    Morning all

    Big hugs Sagaris. x

Ds2 is feeling ill again! I sent him to school yesterday because despite the coughing he was feeling better in himself. He went to bed early exhausted and is now feeling really rough again with a temperature. I'm going to see if i can get him a Dr's appointment.

I'm feeling loads better but i guess the key today is not to over do it or tomorrow i'll be feeling like Ds2 does today. I'm not going to be able to help OH though and he's got to work today. I'm so worried for him the house isn't going to be ready but there's not much i can do at the moment.

I'm going to potter about today and try and get some work done today as well.

    Need to find my list.
