For reference only :

Being as there are so many court threats floating around at the moment thought id edit a scan form an old case.

Official court papers - note the stamp on the seal mark

A fake court paper / threatogram wouldnt have the seal so something like this :

  • I have issued MCO but (of course) never received one. As they are sent by post as normal, they would still have the stamp (seal) plus the Case Number?

The MCOL papers have the seal pre-printed on (i.e. not physically stamped on like those issued from a county court) in the appropriate position but its perfectly square and IIRC has the crown with the words Northampton CCBC underneath.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Genuine MCOL claim, in addition to a claim number, will also have a unique password (bottom right hand side) so that the defendant can log onto MCOL to acknowledge claim

I've added the two images under a new heading near the top of the "Letters & Threats" thread and have renamed the thread to include the word "Court Papers."

As MSE has guidelines on the number of sticky threads each board can have, I wouldn't be able to make this one a sticky unless an existing one could be removed first :o
